Appearance

Zen was hatched from Lapis Lazuli. She is a brown river otter. She is slender with webbed toes and tiny ears. The gembound is a dark brown girl with white on her neck. As a pup, her white mark on her neck is small but as she gets older it will grow and spreads to some of her belly as it changes colors from white to grey. Her fur is waterproof which helps when she swims. Zen is a great swimmer and she will be even after she hatches from her Chrysalis. Sometimes when another gembound tries to hurt her she will use her tail in defense. Zen is very quick but she is quicker in the water. The otter gembound has teeth like a wolf or big cat has and she uses those teeth to rip apart of the fish she is eating. Because of the magicka she possesses, Zen’s fur lightly glows and you can only see it glow at night. When she is swimming her fur can be seen some in the water. After she had hatched from her stone, the stone appeared on the middle of her tail. The stone that she has on her tail is not that hard which makes it easier to swim using her tail as a rutter or using it to protect herself. The stone is a magnificent blue which is the only thing that is visible besides her white chest. As a pup she is no bigger than a five week old kitten but she will grow to be the length and height of cat but she is more swift than a cat.

Personality

Zen is a mischievous yet peaceful gembound. She is quick enough to get away from anyone danger. Though she is mischievous, Zen is quite peaceful, happy and playful. She loves going fishing and swimming. The River Otter gembound is quite nifty at taking things as a pup but if she grows up with the right parent figures to take her in she wont be a thief. If you are eating a meal, she will end up taking if she is hungry. The gembound is very protective of herself and if attacked she wwill give the attacker a piece of her mind. She likes youngsters and making friends with whoever seems like friend material. Sometimes if you arent careful she will take your things such as rocks, bones, staffs,etc. Some say its hoarding but Zen is just curious about everything. Her ears are always on alert and her eyes are always watching. Some will call her the slippery pest whereas others will think of her as tranquility and kind. Zen also has a knack for biting and learning. If she goes to a hill or something like that, Zen will slide down it on her belly. She is known to be nice and caring too but when she hasnt gotten much sleep or has been hurt by someone emotional she will be mean. Though she is more playful at night, Zen can be playful during the day too.
