Appearance

Adult Height: Six and a half feet
Adult Weight: Two hundred pounds

A large and imposing beast he will be upon reaching adulthood, able to throw his weight around and intimidate opponents... but he'd much rather eat. Which is evident by the sleepy way he seems to hold his eyes. Don't be fooled though, he is quite aware of everything that goes on. His eyes just happen to seem like perpetually in a state of drowsiness. Which is a shame because once you catch his eyes you'll realize that they are a startling and gorgeous shade of turquoise. Not that he cares how pretty his eyes are.

His short coat is a rusty reddish brown, dull in comparison to some other kangaroos and bright in comparison to others... so all-in-all... average. What isn't average is the cream patch on his lower back and the smoky-gray tone on his tail is somewhat unique.

He has very powerful limbs. His kick can send others flying (upon adulthood) and his punches can give serious headaches and he's not afraid to do either.

Buck's gem is zultanite, a peculiar gem that normally changes colors based on light. However, his gem (clear on normal occasions) seems to ignore lighting changes and instead reacts to magic. When he uses his own magic it changes shades to a green similar in shade to his own eyes while others near him using magic will cause different colors. Usually a strong cast from others will cause a golden shade while a weak cast might shift the color to a dull blue. A group of gembounds using magic might make a vivid shade of red or blue. The shape of his gem is a series of spikes like a raw crystal, as a joey they form small bumps on top of the end of tail but will gradually grow more pointed and taller the closer he gets to adulthood.

One more peculiar trait of his is his pouch. Male kangaroos do not usually exhibit such a trait and despite being one-hundred percent male he for some reason was born with a pouch. He also has a very, very heavy Australian accent.

Personality

Lazy. Brave. Loyal. Laid-Back. Carefree. Passive. Intimidating.

If Buck could have his way he'd sit down and while his hours away by doing absolutely... nothing. He much prefers to lay back and watch things go by rather than doing things himself. Even as a child he'll only want to play if it's a game that seems very, very fun or explore only if there's some huge benefit at then end (or if he's just genuinely uncharacteristically curious). He's even worse in his adulthood and it's not an uncommon of a thing to see him lounging around or eating fruits and grasses. Some gembounds might mistake his inactivity as fear in some situations but he's far from fearful.

Buck is the type of person that will hardly let anyone or anything cow him. If there's danger sitting between him and a relaxing situation then he'll take that danger and grab right around the neck. He's not about to let someone threaten him or take him down. He can be horrendously stubborn and if he's been beaten down once or twice or more he's still not one to give up on a situation. Do not mistake his patience for weakness. While he has a long fuse he will not blatantly accept someone insulting and/or being rude to him. That's a sure fire way to get him to stand up and make threats... or rather, promises. He doesn't do idle bluffs. If he says "back up or I'll lay you flat" you better believe he's going to do it or at least do his best to make that statement a reality.

To his friends he's one of the most steadfast individuals and will do anything for you come hell or high water. He doesn't mind exchanging insults with his friends so long as he knows you're just having a bit of fun and not being serious.
