Appearance

Fang is a tiny dot of a mongoose. Even when she reaches her adult size she will continue to be tiny, only weighing in at 20 oz with a length of 11 inches (not counting her 10 in long tail). She has dusky brown fur with a distinctive reddish streak going down her back all the way to the end of her tail. The tip of her tail is snow-white, the same color as her right foreleg.

Fang's face is distinctive in the fact that it is quite sharp-looking with a short muzzle ending in a little pointed black nose. Her mouth is usually turned up into a smug grin that exposes her namesake, a pink diamond fang on the left side of her mouth. This left eye tooth pokes out just from under her lip but since she's usually got a cocky shit-eating grin it's mostly exposed. The tooth itself is extremely hard and strong with an unnaturally pointed tip. Needless to say you don't want to be bitten by it...

To most she seems dishelved or rough in appearance but Fang doesn't mind this look. To her it fits her name and the rough fur with her strange scruffy forelock that her intelligent silver eyes peek out from underneath gives her an exotic appearance that some might find attractive.

She has sharp little claws with five toes that can be used to hold things. Now she won't be making tools anytime soon but she's quite dexterous and an excellent climber. These coupled with her tiny size make her quite hard to pin down when she doesn't want to be caught or seen.

How to describe Fang... For starter's she is as cocky as they come. She thinks no one comes close to her intelligence, her grace, her beauty, or even her stealth skills. She believes she was put on this earth for others to admire and throw themselves before her for a chance to get a sample of her skills. Somewhere deep down in her conceited mind though she knows that everyone won't know her and to get her reputation out there as a spy and treasure-hunter to be reckoned with she needs to get work. Fang isn't stupid and while she lives to be admired she knows that hard work is what will ultimately get her somewhere in life. As such she expects the same from others. You'll get no respect from her if you don't earn it. Sure, she may do a job for you (she'll do a job for anyone that pays the right price) but you'll know that behind those silver eyes is contempt... Contempt that won't disappear until you've earned her respect. She might not say anything out loud to you about the level of her contempt, she might hide it and state otherwise but be aware that sarcasm is one of her favorite forms of humor.

The only loyalty Fang has is to herself. Even if you have her respect and even rarer have made a friend or ally of her, be aware that that means nothing. If someone gives a higher price for her "loyalty" then she'll sell you out in a heartbeat but know that it's not personal... it's business. Still, with the lies she can weave you may even believe that she truly hasn't sold you out until it's all said and done. She could talk her way out of many a situation and will gladly say anything and give anything that she can to save her own skin... Self preservation is strong in this one.

A favorite pasttime of hers is collecting things... Treasures or info, both are valuable to her. Fang knows how to be patient and can lie in wait for hours for something that she wants before making a move. She is a master of manipulation, forming words and lies how she wants to get a desirable result from others.

By the nature of her species she isn't designed to be a loner but normally that's how she is. The reason being is when she's in a group she refuses to play anything other than leader. With her conceit she believes herself the most capable to take charge and thus won't show her belly to anyone... if she does it's only temporary until she figures out a way to take you down.
