Appearance

DOTS, SPOTS, AND SPLOTCHES OF BLOTS

Jaguars have black rosettes all over their pelts, and Kaimana is no different from this standard. The rosettes don’t stop to consider their takeover, they cover the undersides as well! Those recurring patterns over a jaguar’s fur helps it blend into trees and vegetation. That’s fun.

FUR LIKE A SANDY SHORE.

An almost rusty reddish brown is the color which washes the top of Kaimana’s pelt. Her undersides are white, wherever they aren’t coated with black spots. The fur itself is smooth and short, coating the body like a second skin.

A POWERFUL BUILD FOR HUNTING… FISH PROBABLY!

Short and stocky is the typical build for this brand of feline, good for doing a variety of things. Namely climbing, swimming (that’s right, swimming), crawling, and, of course, hunting. Kaimana, in particular, is perhaps a bit smaller than the average jaguar.

AND A BEARD OF CORAL? ISN’T THAT UNCOMFORTABLE?

A row of multi-colored coral pokes out from Kaimana’s jawbone, like a medium-short beard. The coral doesn’t really have a smooth outline across the top; it is jagged and droopy. For the record, it isn't really uncomfortable. It’s too short to get in the way of anything.

Personality

A FRIENDLY SKELETON

Kaimana's something of a contradiction: a lonely, haunting soul, and an eccentric, willing companion. Ghoulishly calm in pretty much everything she does, but she is not without energy. Perhaps she is endothermic, or a vortex, or Schrodinger's cat. Most likely, Kaimana is a friend, or an ally at least -- a respectful and caring one at that.

SHARP AS A TACK, AS THEY SAY

Eccentricity lends to passion, and coolheadedness lends to tact. It's a deadly combination, neutralized only by the leopard's kindness. She's determined to get what she wants, in the smartest way possible, and hopefully by fair means. She can barter, trade, make deals; thievery isn’t her favorite activity but she can do that too, if she must.

THOUGHTS DEEPER THAN THE MARIANA TRENCH (CYCLES)

Like I said, the jaguar is smart. She thinks deeply about the world around her, and likes to practice problem solving quite a bit. She’s found that the world moves in cycles and adheres to a philosophy centered around keeping those cycles flowing.

INTERESTS INCLUDE: BONES, FISH, STONKS, AND FRIENDS

Kaimana loves bones, fish, various shiny oddities, and above all, valued friendships. Often drifting about dark and wet places, admiring bones and enjoying the water, anyone passing by might find her to be an eager partner in both the bonds of trade and amiability.
