Appearance

Most of Lyra's body is covered with white scales, softer then those of a true reptile. Along its back is a long mane of thick pearl colored feathers. They're soft and smooth, almost like a blend of feather and fur. As it goes farther down her back, the feathers get bigger and less fur-like until it transitions into a long, beautiful peacock tail. However, she cannot raise it and spread out the feathers as well as a true peacock can, what she can do with it is beautiful nonetheless. Along her belly and covering her head is soft white fur. The fur is long and drapes from her body. Her face is long and canine with a small area of beak-like skin on the top of her nose. Her eyes are an icy white. Her body is long and serpentine, flexible and agile. She has short bird-like legs, the same pink color as her parent, but her feet are more canine then bird. However, she does have talons sand a back claw like a bird. Her stone, a queen conch pearl, is a big round gem on her chest, just above her front legs. It sticks out through her fur a little bit.

As a young baby, the feathers on her back will have no pink and will be small. The tail will not be nearly as thick or lucious. Her scales will be much harder and smoother, more like a reptile then it will be later in life. She'll be oddly shaped and grow into her slender, delicate form.

Personality

Lyra is a shy creature, much like her mother, but much harder to approach, as she'll most likely run away and hide from those that try to get close. It takes a while for one to form a bond enough to get her to open up and trust, but once its done she'll never close away again. It is so easy for her to become dependent on others, considering that she's pretty terrified to do anything alone. She'll never take responsibility, never take the lead, preferring to follow and be submissive.

However, once one gets under her barrier, they'll find a sweet, loving, and helpful little hybrid. She'll be happy to help in any way she can and is constantly optimistic, even if things don't seem to be going that great. She'll have to be in the worst situation possible to get her to finally feel hopeless. In this way, she is a great motivator because she believes in herself and in the ones she trusts. She won't let them quit if she thinks there's a way to move forward, as well as herself. She can be quite pushy if she has to, but would rather prefer to be assisting then leading and forcing. She can also be loyal to a fault, having trouble changing her mind once she chosen to trust someone. Hopefully that won't get her into too much trouble.

Lyra is also quite the daydreamer. She doesn't have a very good attention span and is constantly caught dreaming and wondering. If things don't manage to keep her interested, she may find herself thinking of something else, imagining other things, dreaming. Whether she will make her dreams real is yet to be seen, but she sure does have quite the imagination.
