Appearance

Seffyroth looks much like the average helmet shrike. But he's not. He's special. Important. The protagonist. His crest rises in dark, spiky pieces, some clumps falling dramatically over his beak. The clumps are large and easy to draw. His stone is a pair of triangular glasses, disappearing in the feathers between each eye and jutting in front of his eyes. It is a rosy, warm pink, but darker for rose quartz. His left eye is a bright cyan. The right is a violent red. Both glow brightly. His beak is dark, peeking from the bottom of his crest. Two black slashes are on the bottom of each cheek, separating his grey head from his pale body.

His wings and the top of his body are brownish-black in coloration. Another streak separates his body from the neck. His wings have a streak the same pale white as his underbelly, traveling down the length. His legs are bright reddish orange. Once fully grown, he will be 10 inches long in total. He will hatch unable to fly, but able to walk. Seffyroth will move confidently, both in the ground and the air, and have a bounciness to him. As if nothing could weigh him down. His voice will be high pitched and scratchy throughout his life. Nigh unforgettable.

Personality

Seffyroth will be confident. Brave. Unendingly and stupidly heroic. He has an unbreakable will, and is overwhelmingly stubborn. Seffyroth LOVES to eat. He'll eat any time, anywhere, because eating is a personality trait manga writers use when they cant think of one for their shonen protagonist. He needs it to repair all the wounds he gets through combat.

He is extremely passionate. He has a great interest in fighting and magic spells, and can enter the fray with extreme bursts of power. He trains for days on end to improve his magicka, and any failure is seen as another days worth of training. He needs to improve, to avenge his parents. He has little to no knowledge in any area that does not include fighting or offensive magicka. Asking him what rocks are is the same as asking him to explain Inverse Problem Theory. Hes not an idiot, but hes treading a damn thin line.

Seffyroth has not realized yet that other gembound are people. He sees them as lovable sidekicks or enemies. Not vital to himself. Enemies he will try to convert to the side of 'good'. Which, in reality, is just his side. Seffy is selfish. His selfishness masquerades as selflessness. He sees his goal as the greatest in the universe. It may or not change, depending on how well he's monologued to. To add to his lovable personality, he is very vocal. Its hard to miss when he's there. In that quadrant, that is. Every action is punctuated by a bit of dialogue. A small noise at the very least.
