Appearance

She doesn't really resemble much of either of her father's, adopted or not. If it weren't for the purple-black of her fur and feathers, she'd maybe look more like Fisher- she has the body for it, yes, but the stance is more reminiscent of her tall avian parent.

Four out of eight limbs hold black, retractable claws on thick paws. The other are two pairs of large wings across her back, granting her the power of flight through biplane-like soaring. Golden fins can be seen spread along the underside of each and can often seen trailing like flags in the wind when her wings are fully extended.

Moving is liable to jostle the golden specks of scales dotting under her fur, shedding them constantly like pollen. Her initial swoops of flight tend to be accented by a constellation of gold. The same gold translates to a glowing laurel of a halo, a hard material connecting behind each of her four eyes and looping around the back of her head. It's strong enough to hold her up like a scruff.

That is, not many beings would be able to hold her once she's fully grown. While her bird stance often has her stooped to about seven and a half feet, extending straight up on her back legs can bring her to eight or more if she stretches.

Her morganite on her chest appears as a four-pointed star, nestled above her keel. The bottom point isn't connected, and neither is the back of her halo.

Personality

Young and impressionable, Volta has yet to really develop her personality. She will grow to often follow her family and chatter about anything they've told her. They're good people, so they must be right, right?

She's rather gullible to pranks they pull.

A lot of things make her happy, from the plants Vivilene brings home, to flying with Angela, and even stalking behind Hunter as he does his daily explorations. Her heart will be torn if she has to leave them for too long- a personality point imparted by Attikias, her father.

But, she wants to explore, too. Without much sense for danger, she'll stick her paw into crevices without even looking into them, curious about what she'll pull out. Surprises will often elicit sparks of magical electricity flowing through her conductive gold. Being hurt, though, she's rather nonchalant about it, picking herself back up with zero restraint to just keep on trucking.

She isn't sure what she wants. As it stands, she's directionless, trying to find her own way through life. Does she want to stay with her adopted father? Should she seek out her own biological one? They both carry the same magic, after all. Maybe, along the way, she'll find quests to go on and heroes to become.

She'd like that.
