[Contest] Sunrise Projector - Rauslin - Sep 24 2015
Hope this is alright if you need me to change anything just let me know c: @Baratheon RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Baratheon - Sep 30 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" The last few days had gone by in a long blur, everything that came to him seemed to be new and logged down in his brain for future reference. The members of Maji Walezi and the different ones who came through. It was all confusing but he was slowly but surely starting to figure everything out... or at least attempting to. His furry white rump was seated on the snow of the land he was born in, pink eye slowly sweeping around to take in everything around him. One eye was all that he knew so one was what he worked with. It was a little hard to get everything lined up right and with his great size, even more difficult to keep from smacking things with his tail or stepping off a ledge into the water but again, he was learning. It made him wonder whether or not he'd been born with one eye or not but it hurt to think about it. The great fog in his mind wouldn't relent and he didn't really want to try to probe it lest he bring something bad on his head. He didn't know for sure but beyond that haze... He sensed something foreboding. It wasn't worth it to check if his suspicions were true. For now he just awaited the arrival of the Horse... Delphine? Was that her name? He couldn't remember... Didn't feel like asking. To him she was just the horse that didn't leave, and he appreciated it. She was much like the Pink Wolf, his constant presence was also reassuring to him. He had lots of kind friends and what was this? He could see the Horse approaching and with her was a small thing like the Wolf but not like... She was a Dog. Yes... Another friend? The listened as the Horse spoke to him and he politely kept his ears pricked and tail periodically wagging gently to show that he was paying attention... But he couldn't help but look at the Dog. She was so interesting. Then, when the Horse finished speaking with him it was his turn to talk with the Dog. The tiny one approached and looked up at him. The dragon blinked then after a minute of simply staring blankly tilted his head to the side with a small smile as if to say "who're you?". 395 @Rauslin Please forgive me for taking so long ;.; And fixed it XD no more mention of a festival lol 6/10 "Talking looks like this!" @Baratheon RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Baratheon - Oct 02 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" The little pup picked up quickly what he wanted and supplied her name plus other valuable information. So, the Horse was her... Mama? A Mama, he didn't have one of those. The closest to that was his Horse caretaker who tended his wounds and made sure he was fine. Still, he didn't think of her as Mama. Should he? His head tilted the other way as he pondered that before deciding that Horse Caretaker was just fine. Finally his brain was freed and he was able to address her other words. He would love to be friends with her! So, without even thinking over that part he nodded his head up and down vigorously, smile widening across his long muzzle. Yes yes! They could be best friends! He loved friends! He watched his new friend Rauslin closely and noted that she looked behind him to something. He turned his head and saw the lagoon sitting there. What was about that? Did she want to go there? Would Horse allow it? He turned his head to the dark mare, his gaze questioning if he could kidnap the tiny pup and take her to the lagoon. However, he never got an answer as the pup shouted that that's where they would race to and promptly took off! Uh-oh! He would certainly be left behind! The dragon turned and began to trot after her, long legs eating up the ground easily. His one lame wing was clamped loosely at his side while the other flapped with excitement as he went behind the pup. Wow, he hadn't had fun in a while! He couldn't remember exactly when since his mind had a fog covering but he knew it was a long while. He enjoyed fun! Would Rauslin be around to give him fun all the time? He hoped so! A rumbling sound almost like a mixture of a purr and a laugh escaped from his throat as he came to a stop near the lagoon. Or... Tried to come to a stop, with his poor depth perception he accidentally judged the distance wrong and ended up falling straight into the water with a huge splash. For a moment he stayed underneath the water, unsure of what to do before he finally launched upwards and began to float. He squirted water from his maw and gave a toothy grin letting Friend Rauslin know that he was alright and that the race was fun. Could they do more fun things? 414 --- 7/10 "Talking looks like this!" @Baratheon RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Baratheon - Oct 06 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" The dragon pulled his large form from the water, liquid streaming off of his downy fur. The massive head turned so that his one eye could take in the tiny pup just as she launched herself into the water with a large splash of her own. Baratheon gave a chuckle and nodded his head in reply to her enthusiastic question. It was a very nice splash very well done! But another important topic was breached... Da? Was that him? Was he her... Da? She was a Rauslin Dog and he a Dragon but he could still be Da. Da's were large... right? And he was large. Da's would also protect the little ones that they loved and because she was Delphine's and Delphine was the one he wanted to protect he would protect Rauslin as well. He loved them both and would do anything for them. Yes... He was her Da. He grinned wider at this realization as he patiently watched her paddle over to the shore. He lifted his tail to try and help her to shore if she needed it then lowered his head to allow her to lean against his long neck. His one eye watched the tiny pup, carefully examining her for anything she may need or want. After all, if he was her Da then he should make sure to keep her happy. Hmm? Stones... Yes. That information came back to him. Everyone had one, his was... On his leg, hidden from view to most. The dragon's head shifted slightly so that he could peer down his body to his legs where his pink and white stone lay. The Horse was right for teaching such information, stones were very important. As was magick... Speaking of... Baratheon turned his gaze back to the expectant pup, how could he not comply with her polite question? He didn't know for sure if he had magic but for his... daughter... he would try. The dragon closed his eye and focused inwards on the magick inside of his body. There was a damp spot on the ground in front of them from the abundance of water. Perhaps with his molecular magick he could change that... Without even knowing how he did it the damp patch of water began to change, ice began to crust at the edges of it and after a moment nearly all of it was ice. Baratheon's eye opened and he blinked in slight astonishment. He tapped his muzzle on the ground, right in front of the ice-puddle to show Rauslin what he had done. There... Would that impress her? Or would she want to see more... Did he even have more? RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Rauslin - Oct 08 2015
@Baratheon RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Baratheon - Oct 08 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" “Woah, my Da's got the magic.” Now, he wasn't one to brag... Not that he could brag without the proper words but that satisfied grin and self-satisfied lift of his head said it all. His daughter thought his magick was cool! He grunted happily before lowering his head and breathing warm air from his nostrils onto the pup's fur fondly. A small splash of water hit his muzzle before sliding off of his fur. The dragon chuckle-growled before using his nose to flick water playfully at the pup. He leaned back after a moment and watched her paddle around the water. Rauslin then came back and gave him such a determined look with her stern words that he couldn't help but nod his head just as seriously. Yes! She would be an excellent magick user, he was sure of it. And... He was her Da so he could help her, right? He certainly wanted to and definitely wanted to see her succeed. The Dragon crossed his left foreleg over the top of the other as he watched the little pup look around. Something else to do? Hmm... But what? He tilted his head questioningly to the side as he peered around. A game? But what game? Hmm... He sat up up on his haunches, serpentine neck craning around so that he could search better for a game. Where could they find one? His search was ended when he heard the cry from his charge. A look of concern washed over his face as he lowered his head down to her, nose snuffling at her fur as he began to search her. Tummy making noises? Hmm... Hungry? Food? He was Da... He would provide. The dragon lifted his head and leaned backwards, a strange gargling sound in his throat. There was a rumbling in his gut, a deeper grunting and coughing sound then his head was lowering again right in front of Rauslin. His mouth opened and out from it plopped a mess of silver and white. The smell was that of fish and it was still steaming from his gut. Fortunately the dragon never chewed his food so aside from a few missing scales and the fish being slightly chewed they were relatively in tact. His one eye met the dog's and his tail began to wag. There, that should be perfect for her to eat! Then they could play. RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Rauslin - Oct 11 2015
@Baratheon RE: [Contest] Sunrise Projector - Baratheon - Oct 12 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" The tail wagging made Baratheon's own tail swing all the more harder. It seemed as if food [i]was[i] what she needed. He was glad that he was able to provide for her needs, it made him feel so happy! However, it seemed that her belly was far too small to eat all of the fish. No matter, he could help deal with that while saving more for later. His head lowered and he extended his blue tongue outwards to fish up the leftovers and swallow them. It was while he was scooping up the rest that he heard her question. Do? Hmm... The dragon eyed his young daughter thoughtfully while a ruminative hum came from his throat. There were many things in the cave from decorating all the way down to rabbit hunting but what could the tiny pup do? His one eye turned on the water as Rauslin looked to it and he edged closer to peer into the pond teeming with fish. Could there be something hiding in the bottom or perhaps near the bottom? With his wing the way it was he couldn't completely plunge but he could take a quick look! The dragon inhaled a breath sharply and ducked his head into the water with a loud splash. It was difficult to see with only one eye but he managed. The pink orb blinked as he peered keenly around, trying to find something of interest. He found it in a glimmering green stone with a perfectly round surface, worn down by the water. It rocked back and forth against the gentle currents of the water as if it were a ball ready to be rolled around. Not wanting it to roll away Baratheon wasted no time in lurching forward, putting more of himself into the water as he lunged for the stone. His wide jaws closed gently over the stone and once it was secure he pulled from the water with the prize in his mouth. Water streamed from his coat and pooled all around him while he turned his great head to the tiny pup. Lips pulled back happily so that the little one could see just what he'd found. Then, after a moment he lowered his head to the ground and gently nudged the stone with his nose horn so that it would roll towards the little pup. |
