Wilder Hybrids Pre-Adoptions - Wilder - Jul 03 2019
Alright, since so many people were showing a lot of interest in a hybrid from Wilder's 300 alien gemstones, I'm going to put up a form and the descriptions of all the stone she has so I can pick out which ones she'll attempt to revive and adopt them out once they're given life. You can apply for as many as you want in case the attempt fails and the stone breaks. You may also design your own hybrid or choose to have it randomized.
These apps don't have to be crazy, I just want a List™ of people that are interested so I can make a decision.
Aliens:
Pupil labradorite, once belonged to King N'chard
Not much is currently known - he was small, brown, and spotted with gray. Will ask Dark for more details.
Fledgling sardonyx containing a yellow gecko-like dragon creature
The first was a red-and-cream colored Sardonyx, polished to a mirror shine, almost salmon-colored at a distance. It once belonged to a creature about the size of a small deer, yet in appearance not unlike a vivid-bright, lemon-yellow gecko, with some yellow-green mottling and creamy patterning, the latter particularly along the belly. The eyes were telescopic, rotating separately--conical, almost, like a chameleon's. A frill was able to be raized from around its neck, and it had spines down its back along with a pair of batlike wings.
Fledgling jet containing a white-furred, humanoid lizard creature
The third was a jagged, dull chunk of black Jet that had once belonged to a Fledgling (+1) humanoid creature of unknown origins. Around four feet tall, it had mid-length white fur from top to bottom. Despite the fur, its face was almost reptilian--not unlike an iguana's, though the eyes more resembled those of a gecko. Upon its back perched bat-like wings of soft, white leather.
Pupil opal containing a strange ape-like reptile
The final gemstone was a raw, milky Opal glittering with rainbow colors within, which had come from a Pupil-level (+2) creature of unique origins. It was shaped like a large, heavy ape--not unlike the size and build of a gorilla. The skin was grey, however, the creature furless, and though its eyes were dark and apelike, the face was quite like that of a snake. A scaled frill framed its neck, laid back against the shoulders, and a second fin ran down the back like a sail.
Pupil star rose quartz containing...something
The fourth is yet another stone once belonging to a Pupil (+2)-level Gembound. This one is a Star Rose Quartz, but it's raw, so that the typical pale star is not visible on its surface. Instead, this rough hunk of gem is pale and clean pink, like poultry meat, glittering even as if wet. This Quartz last belonged to a strange creature that someone resembled a massive alligator, though its head was more triangular vertically, like that of an iguana or other lizard. Its eyes were situated at the front of its head, round and intense like an owl's, and like an owl, its entire body was covered in soft, gray feathers. A pair of horns twisted back from its head, though not as long as a gazelle's or so--more a pair of goat horns. This creature had only a single pair of limbs, short and sturdy, ending in round, uncloven hooves.

Personality: Worldly, wise beyond their years. Booksmart rather than street smarts, doesn't entirely have common sense. Patient and difficult to anger, though can be infuriating for some people to interact with. Not unkind, but quietly and privately arrogant, just a little bit.

Personality:
Chryso is not one to make themselves known. They end up in the background more often than not, and they aren't complaining! It's hard to give attention to every single person throughout the day. It doesn't help that they usually waste all of their energy looking as cheerful as possible to whoever comes around. That's not to say they dislike being around others; they're just introverted and can only spend so long being the center of attention.
They aren't afraid to show how they feel, though. When upset, they do speak their mind, though they know to not get into fights or push themselves. They'd prefer to defuse fights than start them, though drama isn't really fighting per-se.
They've been taught to believe the best in everyone, and they genuinely do. Everyone does have the chances to be redeemable, as far as Chryso knows. Friendship is something they do strive for, though they prefer to take it at their own pace.
Magic is an interesting subject for Chryso, being born from a life-giver that has quite the store of it. Their goal, for now, is to learn more of the world around them and look towards lessons from their mother. Time has yet to tell if they'll be as gifted as their mother or not.
Design:
This creature is particularly cat-adjacent, though a few off putting things could be noted about them. While their legs end in thinly clawed paws, these legs are long and spindly. The front pair are particularly built like their gazelle heritage, while their back are a bit elongated. A medium length tail ends in a black tip, while their paws are dusted with dull cream, much like their undersides.
A feline back is dotted with dark rosettes, each circle filled with the same cream decorating the rest of their body. A line accents their stomach and down their eyes, the same color as these rosettes. Black ears have holes showing cream within. A dot adorns the middle of their forehead, almost a neat circle faded out into their dark pelt below.
Atop a long neck sits a feline face, two small, back-facing ears sitting under short prongs of horns. One single eye is able to be seen with a pink iris and round pupil, while the right is replaced with a yellow-ish gem, a single white line mimicking the appearance of an eye. The cat's eye is replace with a cat's eye, or a chrysoberyl, if you will.
Their movements are particularly feline-like, though they carry themselves with a particular grace and often take bounding leaps when running. A slow gait is normal for them, stalking much like their feline heritage, but they are capable of bursts of high speed at 50 mph or sustained at 25. While young, they may be smaller than their mother, though they will eventually grow to stand at about 10 inches, a little taller than their life-giver.

Personality: (this isn't going to be a nice little organized thing, it's more...idk a barely coherent dumping of words and info)
ok first thing's first: butch lesbian
when she's young, she's not really going to care much about the whole lesbian side of things. she will, however, despite being female, feel almost more masculine than feminine. but it's not something she's really conscious of, not until she's a little older at least. growing up, there'll always be something that feels sort of "off" about her but that she could never really name.
as she gets older, to 4 cycles (maybe 3-4 anyway) she'll start to realize that hey. girls are p cute. and it starts with her just wanting to spend time with them and only them. but she'll also be really scared of commitment and just have multiple flings, only being with someone for a little bit at a time before she's moving on. during all this, she's still working to figure herself out. the feeling of..."off-ness" has lessened but it hasn't quite gone away completely.
basically in short that "off-ness" is her sorta. questioning her gender a lil. she never really felt very "feminine." so despite having very little interest in any guys (or anyone who presents as such) she'll find herself drawn to them for a little. probably just for a cycle or so before she decides that, nah, she's a girl and v happy with being such. she's just a lil butch lesbian who loves girls.
and idk maybe she'll have an Actual Girlfriend and not just all these flings.
aside from all this, just a few basic personality traits: sarcastic, extrovert, reckless. these are subject to change and i'll probably add some more if i end up getting this character

Personality: Friendly and easily impressed. Also very tidy and takes great pains to keep their fur clean and presentable. Hates getting wet.
Design:
Short and slender, stands only 3ft tall. They are covered in soft, black and white cat-like fur. While their snout is shaped a little more reptilian, they have cat ears, whiskers, and expressive, jade-green feline eyes. They've inherited a pair of soft, leathery wings, and keeping with the coat color, the fingers are black while the membrane is white. They prefer to be bipedal but can just as comfortably crouch or sit on all fours (much like a gargoyle). The palms of their claw-like hands and feet are cover in small, soft, pinkish-white scales but their nails are black. Is carnivorous. Their stone is located on their belly.

Which stone? Pupil labradorite
Personality: Born half-blind. Though that's not a personality trait. They're a little bitter about it, though-- they try to hide the fact they can't see very well but this, in turn, makes them appear colder and distant. They have a short fuse, little to no patience, and tend to snap and lash out at others.
They're a little softer on the inside, but you'd need to dig through a mile of fire and ice to find it. They're loyal and have a good sense of humour, and has an endless, ceaseless desire to be... well, like everyone else. Who can see properly.
They're obviously open to change-- particularly when younger --but once they get a bit older they'll start relying on magic to help them get around better.
Design: will. probably be changed depending on the offishul art so these are just doodles
Mostly cat-like in appearance, but with the longer, stronger legs of a canine and a longer snout. Their face is fairly angular under all the fur. Their fur is dark brown with orange and white patches, and their eyes are the same stark pink as their life-giver's. Their body is a little longer, though stiffer, than a regular cat's might be.

Personality:
• The Guardian: As a creature that cares for the wellness of others, it is natural that he wants to serve. His natural instinct is to act like a dutiful shield and protect those from the cruelties of the world. He tends to take a neutral stance. He will choose to take a pacifist route until he feels he must use force. Jet will not just aid those from physical threats, but mental threats as well. In fact, it is what he tends to specialize in as his sensitive nature tends to be far more in tune with emotions. Jet will often try and dispel negative energy and help guide those to a path of positivity. His attitude often comes with two additional traits: loyalty and dependableness. He wants others to rely on him and therefore, takes great strives of showing his reliability. As for loyalty, Jet is often one that is more than willing to go down with the ship sinking. He values the bonds and relationships he forms with others and wants to do everything he can to protect that. Sometimes, these bonds can extend to things he finds valuable such as gifts as he feels an attachment to them making him very nostalgia and one that loves to reminisce on the past. These qualities can aid him if he chooses to take leadership roles, but Jet is not in it to be a leader or have some form of power.
• The Nurturer: Jet is able to look at others through different lenses. He may not always understand what they are going through, but he is able to empathize with them, nevertheless. He tries to do his best to be someone who is approachable so he can help comfort those in need. His goal is to help redirect them to better situation where he can watch them overcome their struggles. For as loving as he can be, there are some downfalls that can affect him. Jet tends to become too involve with others and can often become meddlesome. The resulting conflict can make Jet feel insecure about failing to help the latter and therefore, become more stubborn in his efforts.
Jet can also act as a vessel for negative energy. While it may aid someone else with their release, Jet can, overtime, become burdened with these struggles. His pride makes him feel quite stubborn about receiving help from others since he feels ashamed of being vulnerable and making others worry. Eventually, his resentment and angry towards the ones he desires to help can cause him to burst, but he regrets it. He can also become trigger when someone has poked some sensitive areas that he is in denial about.
• The Seeker: There is a call to seek out the mysteries of the world. It is a desire that grows with each passing revelation. Some adventurous streaks are a call to action to explore another cave tunnel. Others are desire to learn through questioning someone about their beliefs and culture. And then there are those that are more soul-searching such as attempting to understand one’s self or how gembounds came to be. Whatever the case, it is clear that there are wonders in this world that must be sought after no matter the risk. At first, the physical side of things will be intriguing to him. As time goes on, he will start to find the spiritual side or the things that he cannot physically see to be breathtaking. Magic will be the main facet to this change as he will start to believe that one can unlock its true potential when one searches beyond the physical manifestation of it.
• The Expresser: Silence is a language that can be learn by many, but master by few. Body language can hold a multitude of expressions and feelings that can connect deeper to the soul than mere words can. Being a creature of deep connection, it is no surprise that he would be an expressionist early on. His movements tend to be animated with life from a simple gesture with his hands to his tail wildly wagging in moments of extreme happiness.
These motions are as natural as breathing to him, but there are times where he takes a theatrical approach and exaggerates them to make a clearer point. Those that taken the time to understand him will find that there is so much more to how he feels than what he actively chooses to display. These connections tend to extend to other topics as well. Jet is an imaginative soul and finds solace in expressing in these feelings through creative medias. A simple cave painting could burst with a multitude of colors and exaggerated styles to convey that he feels happiness being around his friends. Or his daydreaming could take him to colorful worlds with no clear-cut sense of reality making them as vibrant as he can be. There are times where even with speech, his way with words and his usage with his tone can reveal how he feels about a topic.
