RE: girl help i am damp! - Banshy - Feb 20 2023

Banshy snickers a bit more, sticking their tongue out back, as shit-eating of a grin a bird with no teeth can manage. but theres little bite to it, really, sliding easily into a lazy sort of smile, watching.

He's gotta admit, the little bugger is determined. reminds him vaguely of a younger forgraves, the few times the fear would part and the slightest hint of defiance or mischief would leak its way through. it's nice.

Though the both jump at the sudden exclamation, neither are quite surprised they could talk, more surprised they hadn't yet. but that doesn't really cross their minds for more than a second before theyre up and moving.

They rummage through Forgraves endless bowls of plants until they find what theyre looking for and waddling back.

Banshy;

RE: girl help i am damp! - Forgraves - Feb 20 2023

Forgraves startles at the sudden pained exclamation, rushing forward almost instantly.

"oh dear, are you alright? i didn't realize they were so sharp, oh goodness..."

he would try to gently get the pup to look at him, ears flat against his head. "open, open, let me see.." he muttered, trying to get a took at the damage. "Banshy could you-? oh?" he starts, turning to where banshy was standing and pausing when he found it empty.

the commotion of clinking pots turned his head to where banshy was, and by the time he opened his mouth to speak Banshy was already heading back over, a small handful of blueish green leafs in his claws.

"oh! yes, thank you!" he said, raising a brow as Banshy sat back down, quiet and focused.

"here, pup, chew on these. it'll help the pain." he instructed, holding them out in front of them. "they don't taste that good, i'm sorry" he chirped with an apologetic smile.

@Flintlocke

"Speech." Thoughts.

RE: girl help i am damp! - Flintlocke - Mar 09 2023

It doesn't hurt that bad. It isn't bad enough for Flintlocke to be fussed over so much, anyway. Really, they're just looking at the offending piece of stone with a glare in their eyes. They will light that firepit. They know they will. It can't be that hard!

Distracted, they open their mouth with a tiny aa sound when Forgraves asks. Maybe it hurts a little bit. There's a weird taste in their mouth now because of the cut. It's almost worse than the pain itself; they don't like the taste very much. The sensation of something warm at the back of their throat; ugh.

It's weird enough that they don't mind when Forgraves warns that the leaves he's going to give them don't taste good. Anything's gotta be better than the blood, right?

Their eyes focus on the leaves in Forgrave's pawlm and they snatch them up eagerly. Chew, chew.

They blink. The pain's gone, but...?

"That feels weird," they inform Forgraves sagely, making a face. He's right, the leaves don't taste very good. Still better than the pain, or the other weird taste. "Do all leaves feel weird when you bite them?"
