RE: The Blood In My Veins - Mirrikh - Apr 07 2025

What did Mirrikh get out of this offer? The fairy was startled by the question, if only because the answer felt so obvious to them.

"I would have a legacy of strong children- perhaps even the strongest offspring to ever grace the caves," Mirrikh spoke. Perhaps, it should have sounded egotistical.

Yet, it was spoken in genuine tones.

This was what Mirrikh wanted out of this offer. Maybe it might not seem like a lot to some, to have a legacy but not use it necessarily, but it was just right for Mirrikh.

RE: The Blood In My Veins - Rhapsody - Apr 07 2025

The small gembound answered seemingly honestly, but Rhapsody had a hard time believing the answer was all there was to it.

Why would one want children but not really care to raise them, they had asked once before. Regarding their life-giver, Doru, who they had never met. It had been cycles since they had asked that question, but they remembered that now.

"You will not interfere with my raising of the children, if I accept this... offer... of yours?" Rhapsody double-checked. "And if I wanted to involve your father, by chance, he would adhere to my terms of help, not interfere either?"

They tilted their head. "What makes you think your father would be willing to help, if you're not so interested in raising children?"
