RE: blown away by the sight - Azazel (Original) - Aug 31 2015

Azazel was offended at first, and his feathers bristled, quills clicking against one another. But he thought of it. Perhaps it was luck that Isaiah was found by someone who was passive towards Bonebound... and especially Isaiah. He really did get to thinking about it, and he simply dipped his head in respect. "For that, I thank you." That didn't seem to excuse being so harsh, though. "Maybe you are. But you could have also just taken him to the tunnel entrance. But I can't tell you what to do. Nobody else should be able to either. That's why I'm trying to help you, Bara." Pressing his wing against Isaiah, he looked up at the dragon.

"I have been telling my whole group that, but some of the kids have a tendency to wander a little. I'm trying, alright?" So maybe adopting about 10 kids was a bad idea. A really bad idea. He couldn't figure out where the hell half of them were most of the time. He was a little offended, and his feathers bristled like fire. But he fought the urge to fight, the urge to jump right into battle. He best not cause a commotion. He would heed some words Giggle had told him long ago. Don't jump at the first chance you get. Something like that, more or less. Clicking his beak, The Bone King finally looked at Isaiah and smiled softly. "Wanna go home and eat some bones?"

The beast felt justified in initially being harsh to the fledgling, but Isaiah found himself frowning at the names and words he couldn't comprehend. The best he could assume that there were much worst monsters here, but he inwardly found himself skeptical too. If the beast wasn't the one to be feared, who was? Some names were rattled off, but he didn't recognize any of them - fortunately. If he did, that would be something he might have tattled on to his papa for their own sake. Fortunately, the eldest of the birds kept some form of diplomacy in the midst of the windy cavern, and he nearly did question why he wasn't escorted rather than told me would be eaten? It might have made things a lot less scarier, and the boy would have been less likely to scream internally.

He turned to his papa. "More...kids?" The idea of knowing his papa had more than just one kid was a concept that he was still adjusting to. He never really considered it that way, but he wasn't jealous or anything. It was just a question out of curiosity, to confirm that was the case. So it was obvious he shouldn't have wandered from Boneland, but even the amount of bones that caught his interest with a watering mouth couldn't sate the wanderlust he felt in his breast. However, the boy was not truly sorry for his behavior, but he was sorry for traumatizing himself being only days old.

His dark face was still facing towards his papa when he, too, looked his direction with a soft smile. The fledgling found himself grinning in excitement. "Bones!" he chirped as his wings fluttered along with the rest of his body. Before he could hear anything else by his father, he tried to make a head start towards the way home, but he ended up going the wrong direction with the wind trying to blow him over.

Fortunately, it did not blow him over in the process as the Isaiah continued to waddle in the wrong direction.

RE: blown away by the sight - Baratheon - Sep 02 2015

He considered what Aza'zel said and, yes, he could have escorted the little one to the entrance. However, he hadn't been able to get a word out of him at all so that was a rather difficult feat. Still, he wrote it off and just shook his head. Not offering any more words to address that. Let the bird be self-righteous. In any case he was still offering his help, so there was that. "And I appreciate your wanting to help..." He did but he didn't see just how the bird was going to do it.

"Kids will be kids, I guess. Just... Keep trying. They must understand." With that the dragon turned, satisfied that Aza'zel had come and would lead his wayward child home. He noticed the femur on the ground from his earlier snack and on impulse used one claw to swipe it back towards the pair of birds. If they wanted it they could have it. After all, hadn't they said something about bones?

Baratheon raised his wings and then flapped them once as he leaped, easily this got him back up to his perch where he stretched himself out. After a large yawn he lowered his head down and closed his eyes, preparing himself to drift off into sleep.
