A WHOLE HERS OF DERBYS INDEED. Derby nodded violently and brayed. "Over here!" He didn't know that braying for his actual species was a mating call. He was mating calling White on accident. That was the sound the tunnah runnash made. He bounded away towards the herd. "acome on!"

White didn't know what the hell a making call was, lmao what a virgin. She hobbled after Derby, excited when they got close to the herd. "That's a lot of Derbys!" she declared.

Derby nodded vigorously and decided to formally accept white itno the tunnah runnah herd. He backed up and stopped next to the hybrid and licked the side of her face. that was the tunnel runner way or acceptance.

She was only vaguely confused as her face was licked and she decided to lick Derby back on the top of his head.
She didn't know what it meant.
She didn't particularly care. She had like, a ton of new friends now. Like way more than anyone else. She was the best at friendship.
She scrambled into the pen with the herd.

he got a lick on the top of his head and he like whinnied happily and wiggled into the fencing and brayed to announce his arrival then defensively brayed as if he could fend off all these deer if they attacked his new white friend.

The deer stared oddly and some probably hissed, but the musk deer stood in front of white and he braaaaayed, "I dunno. We do tunnah runnah things. We like to run in tunnels!"

White was begining to get the idea these new friends didn't like her, somehow. She squinted at Derby a little.
"Why aren't we running then?"

"Well, there's a pen! My brothers and sisters don't seem to bright, but we're kinda stuck in here. But we can get back out and run!" Derby smiled and bounced in place.
