RE: CARNIVORE! - Black - Jan 01 2016 ![]() Black cared little for what was happening. Indeed, it seemed to him a bit of a waste of time and energy. Why not merely assassinate the stag, if he were so big a problem? He wished to be back guarding his daughter. Still, Fisher had asked him here, and they were to assault Hasira. So when the charge was called, and the stag began to put up his wall, Black acted. He stepped forward, gathering his magic in a rush. He had been intending merely to charge, but the stag was hiding behind a wall of ice. Black's intent immediately changed, and he called on all the darkness within him and without--though slightly distracted by all the combat--and attempted to summon a sucking void behind the wall, to consume either the ice... or all or part of the stag. What he summoned was weak, and the ice wall seemed to interfere with it. Wrinkled face puzzled, the mastiff stopped, trying to unravel the threads of his failed spell. To all others nearby, he would appear to simply be standing there uselessly. RE: CARNIVORE! - Fallah - Jan 02 2016 She didn't know for sure why they had to all fight the stag. She felt like it hadn't even taken this many to fight bigger, more threatening beasts. With Fisher and Black at her side, Fallah was sure they could have taken her without the others, but then again, they wouldn't have been here without the others sense the others had called them here... Also Fallah didn't know this stag was a problem until now. she wondered why he was such a problem. She wondered why the bear couldn't fight him alone. Then she shrugged the feeling off, realizing that if Fisher was fighting, Fallah and Black would also fight. Was this loyalty, or was this purpose? Fallah supposed it didn't really matter. As usual, they would fight, and they would survive. Summoning her magic, Fallah aimed to give no mercy. She aimed to shoot a spike of ice straight into the Stag's chest. Kill him. He didn't need to suffer for this, they just wanted him gone, right? Otherwise, they wouldn't have sent an army after one lone gembound. RE: CARNIVORE! - Amaria - Jan 08 2016 her attack starts in round 2
Amaria You fell away, What more can I say? The feelings evolved, I won't let it out, I can't replace... Your screaming face, Feeling the sickness inside ![]()
She had lingered behind, watching as here mate and her brother were the first to assault the stag that dared harm here child. Her fur began to stand on end and her nose wrinkled to expose her large fangs. She prowled along the side, watching as more and more gembound showed up to attack the stag. Were they all planning on kill the stag? She didn't care what problems they had with the stag. All she knew was that she had every right to sink her fangs into the buck. Her dragon tail lashed side to side, watching as Hasira sent his own assault. Her eyes narrowed as her chest began to rumble. She summoned her magick. She could not make any mistakes. She had to gain her hightened senses so that she could easily follow his movements and sink her fangs, or even her claws into his hide. With a sudden roar Amaria broke out into a sprint right for the stag. Hoping her magic would come to her plea and she would manage to get her attack in. Round 2 Attacking: Hasira. Attempt: Gain heightened senses and get her fangs or claws into his flank, Defensees: None Injuriese: None. "Speech" 'Thoughts' Tags: @Hasira @Cancer @Fisher and the others. Words: OoC: I will not die… Why is everything so fucking hard for me? I will not die… Why is everything so fucking hard for me? I will not die… RE: CARNIVORE! - Cancer - Jan 08 2016 It was like getting kicked in the head. When Hasira moved to run but faltered against the hold, Carcino winced and felt the snag of blood between his ears. Thankfully, as he released the cast, a familiar voice was by his side. He blinked and grinned- Fisher. The grin became a savage expression. Others had arrived too. Hasira was kneeling. This would be easy. Carcino stood a second later and stood over Fisher, teeth bared, and he'd reach out again... ...and that red glow would move so easily this time, lancing up the deer's body to his skull, the sweet, juicy veins and arteries there. Carcino found the biggest ones like red tracks and grabbed hold. A second later, the deer would find himself being yanked, twisted- as Carcino aimed to twist the deer's head around- he has no qualms with attempting the snap the buck's neck, and put an end to him. Either way, there's no easy escape this time. "Speech" Round: TWO of five.
Attempts: Grabbing and Twisting Hasira's head. Next round will roll to see if it sustains. Defense: Wearing his armor (minus the helm) and at long range distance. Injuries: None prior. Minor headache and nosebleed. RE: CARNIVORE! - Vicktor - Jan 08 2016 Vicktor wanted to attack; more than ever. To lose himself in this battle, all for Clover. He even felt that fickle urge to even kill the stag. To aid the other gembounds as they came pouring down around him. A bitter silent rain, signalling the end. Vazi would be the one who knew her fate. A hitch caught in throat he struggled through the next few thoughts. If Vazi died before he could gain proper information, then he would be left to wander again. What if something had happened to Clover!? What if he could never find her!? It had taken him this long to even roam and find the stag! What about his beloved Clover!? Racing thoughts calmed his bristled fur as he stood them above; eyes wide watching all their attacks play out. Vicktor would throw himself closer into battle; but even that seemed too dangerous. ROUND: 2/3 ATTEMPT: ZAP HIM DEFENSE: None INJURIES: None "Clover Speech" "Vicktor Speech" RE: CARNIVORE! - Hasira - Jan 08 2016 His head was in a guillotine and his time was running out, that's what it felt like. His body felt like it was shutting down and not just from the attacks. He could feel something within him, a sickness, his lungs felt like they were filling with fluid and his eyes felt puffy. An imagine of the Plague God appeared behind his eyes. He remembered what was said... If he died then his cold way was right and if he lived then he should seek warmth. There was no way he could survive this. Not without a miracle. His head was roughly grabbed and twisted as he felt a spike of ice spear into his chest, barely missing hitting him in the gem and in his heart. Perhaps it would have been a mercy if it had. Teeth tore into his flank, ripping it open and the stag screamed an agonized sound. Words fleeing him as pain and fatigue from his disease took over. A bolt of lightening zapped him again, leaving him tingling and sore. He was just wanted this over. On impulse he felt his gem react, formed icicles in the air that started to rain down ripping into his own hide and hopefully those around him. His power was waning and he could barely hold onto his thread of consciousness. III of V Attacks: Icles! Defenses: None. Injuries: Burned and scorched over his entire body. Numbed and tingling from electricity. Large rip in his flank from fangs. Hole ripped open in his chest just to the left of his gem.

"This is how I talk!"
This is how I think! RE: CARNIVORE! - Fallah - Jan 17 2016 Something stirred in Fallah's chest. This deer was losing badly. Why were they all here? Why was everyone here? She didn't understand and, for once, began to question the reason behind an attack. She didn't feel right stopping these gembounds, but she didn't feel right killing another one either. Ice shards rained from the sky, one slicing down Fallah's right shoulder while another slid near her left eye, cutting the delicate skin slightly. She didn't want to kill this Gembound, but maybe she could restrain him. Fallah's magic grew as she jumped towards Fisher, "Why do we fight him? why do we want him, one deer, dead?" she questioned before she released her magic, aiming to freeze the deer's legs and hold him from moving. Hastria V. Carnivores 3/4 No Defense Attack: Ice freeze his legs Injuries: Minor tear on right shoulder and beside the left eye from ice shard RE: CARNIVORE! - Cancer - Jan 17 2016 He felt a certain level of satisfaction when his hold over the deer's head was felt, and as he twisted Hasira's skull up and back, he stepped forward with a snarl. The magic around his horns, the candy red glow of his eyes, flickered and crackled from the prolonged use, but he pressed on. He tossed his head to the side and with it, he aimed that magic to continue the twisting motion- he had every intention on snapping that deer's neck and ending his life, then and there. He'd use the stag's blood against him, forcing it through his face in a spiraling motion, and even if the stag managed to retain his intact vertebrae, the feeling of the pull would be anything but pleasant. The ice the stag sent out landed uselessly a few feet away from where the cat stood, but Carcino was finally closing in, one step at a time, strengthening his hold over Hasira as he closed the distance, continuing to push that forceful twist. The stag couldn't escape. There were too many attacks, and there was ice forming around his legs and Carcino let loose a savage roar as he ushered forth renewed vigor into the spell. "Speech" Round: THREE of three.
Attempts: Sustaining the hold and twist Hasira's head, in an attempt to snap his neck/ sever the vertebrae. Defense: Wearing his armor (minus the helm) and at long range distance. Injuries: None prior. Minor headache and nosebleed. Pressure building from overuse of magic... RE: CARNIVORE! - Fisher - Jan 17 2016 Fisher was along side Cancer, but the battle seemed... One sided. Already, he could tell there was no way the stag was getting out of this alive. He stopped fighting-- there was no point and Fisher's magic was too dangerous to just toss around willy nilly. He would stand and guard Cancer... ... But shit, the cat looked like a wreck. Blood trickled down his nose, his horns and eyes glistening a violent crimson that frankly scared the little noodle. His ears twitched at Fallah's question, and he spoke softly. And so Fisher bounced closer and hopped in front of the cat, putting his body partially as a shield between the feline and the stag, partially to meet the burning, painful hot stare of the leopard. He reached up and put a paw on his friend's chest, licking at Cancer's cheek, trying to clean off the blood starting to soak his face. Once, they had been the closer than anything. Fisher still sometimes missed that quiet, warm night together. @CANCER RE: CARNIVORE! - Leon - Jan 20 2016 actually, lets make this the last round if thats okay? round 3 can end once Hasira posts again, I think Briar only wanted to post him one more time anyways. The stag lashed out, and Leon felt the air grow frigid before spikes of ice suddenly manifested from the moisture and rained down upon them. He snarled, dodging away - one or two cascaded down around him, slicing into his thick pelt and crashing onto his back, piercing the skin with their sharp tips, but the damage was superficial. And it was worth it. The Gembounds that gathered around them all crashed down on the stag and beat him with their own magic, and Leon sucked in a breath of hot air, preparing to ignite the explosive saliva he had deposited around him. Tongues of flame danced out from his jaws just in time for him to see Cancer advance on the stag and Fisher leap between the two of them, begging for the leopard to stop. But it was too late for Leon. Fire roared from his jaws in a hot, burning whirlwind, crisping everything in came into contact with - and as soon as the heat rolled over the sticky pyrogel, small explosions rendered handfuls of stone and stinging, molten saliva into the air, fireworks of smoke and flame engulfing the area around Hasira. Leon drew back his lips, flashing those teeth of his in threat, and satisfied - if the stag wasn't dead already, then this would surely do him in. He stepped back and waited for the smoke to clear, almost delighting in the wreckage he had caused for the stag. Round 3/3 Attacks: Igniting the pyrogel and bathing Hasira in flames Defense: None Injuries: Superficial gashes due to icicles @Hasira |
