Thistle grinned at Bartos and leaned on him a little with her shoulder, and she said to Nova, "That's what you came out of, and I'm sure Baro would tell me the same thing!" And she laughed a little, smiling back at Bartos. I mean, for as much as she knew, everyone was born from stones, just sleeping until they started to dream in an abiogenesis of sorts. It made her want to talk to the pretty rocks she found all over Pisces, wondering if they really had to glow and look pretty to contain a gem inside. Who knew? One could be hiding in plain sight!

And when the cat spoke, Thistle grew incredibly excited. "Oh, Oh! We can teach them about the snow and the ice and how slippery it is and how to fight pirates, can't we Baro? And Nova, we can show them the green rooms and maybe that teacher of yours can meet them? We would be the best teachers, sir cat, we promise!"

Baroque relaxed only slightly when Bartos insisted that it was alright-- that he wasn't being a bother. Still, he felt ................embarrassed and out of place in front of the adult who lived nearby like a neighbor, bringing all his loud, rowdy friends that he loved but quietly knew might be too much for the elder.

Thankfully his attention was turned towards the unborn now, his eyes going wide at the blue gems shimmering in the shadows. Thistle was leaning against him and giggling, beaming with the warmth of hundreds of gentle suns and he couldn't help but feel at peace with her around. Everything was okay... No one was bothered, or upset, and now Bartos was even suggesting that when the babies hatched, he could play with them and teach them things.

"That sounds nice," he mumbled in quiet reply, his tail twitching as he took in the information.

Thistle nodded. "Yeah, we'll go. Better let Mr. Papa rest up so that he can be awake when they wake up!" She smiled happily. "Being there for the waking up is really special, really really special, like...a bonding moment! So he has to be awake for that."

She nodded to Nova and Baro. "Let's go, then. We'll see them when they wake up!" And she grinned to Bartos. "Sleep well!"

Baroque blinked as everyone started to run off. He didn't really have much more to say, but he did give a polite smile and nod to Bartos before wiggling off after his friends.

"I can't wait to meet them," Baro murmured to himself, wondering just what the silver, longhaired tabby's beautiful babies would look like. There was one thing he knew for sure: they'd be perfect clanmates. He couldn't wait to have more friends.
