Zen listened to the bear talk about the ranks in the group that she was going to be in. She watched the bear and looked around after awhile. What distracted her was the fact the gembound leaned back looking her over. He was trying to think of what Zen would be best out and that was when Leon told her that she would make a great scout. She was happy with the idea of being a scout. They she could find new gembounds to bring home to the group or maybe a gembound that she could raise. She didnt know if that would be allowed but she hoped it was. " I do like exploring and finding things as well as protecting the waters. I will do my best to do what you ask of me, Leon." she said.

The young Gembound seemed incredibly pliable and willing to do her best for the group. That was all Leon could ask, after all - someone who would be loyal to them and do their best to perform the job given. The bear gave another nod and smiled. "Excellent! We have trials to place new initiates into their ranks. We're gonna have trials soon, so you'll be assigned to someone who can teach you about being a scout. Until then, you can meet the rest of Maji Walezi." He had begun to rise to his paws before remembering the reason he was here in the first place. The bear laughed and leaned back on his haunches. "Oh, how about that fishing lesson?"

Zen listen to the brown bear explain about the trials they were going to have to place her in her rank and that she would be assigned to someone that would train her for scouting. Zen made a little otter chatter of excitement and she stood on her hind legs again. "I cant wait. I will be the best scout out there that you have ever had, Leon. I will do well. I believe in myself and I cant wait for the trails to begin. Who would be training me though?" she asked. Leon soon asked her about a fishing lesson and the ottter ran around in circles shouting "Yes...Yes...lets go leets go.".

The bear gazed thoughtfully down at her. "I'm not sure who will train you. We'll see about that." He grinned and then readied himself to step away. "In the mean time, let's go catch us some fish!" The bear stepped aside and placed his focus on the lagoon. He was kind of a master at fishing lessons at this point - this would be a breeze.

Zen smiled and bounded around the bear excited to be learning to fish better with the help of her new friend. The otter was full of energy you can say that she was created this way but it was in her nature to be hyper and energetic unlike most gembounds. "Yes...lets go...I cant wait to catch bigger better fish. What fish are in the watering hole that you fish from, Leon? Are there any big fish?" she asked
