RE: Tell me I Deserve This - Yarrowfeld - Jan 11 2016
He hit his brother straight dead center between the eyes so hard that his brother went down and started groaning, laying there on the ground curled up into a little ball, and Yarrow just sat there on his haunches, looking at his brother in abject horror. Wha-what did he do? He hurt him! Yarrow just felt so awful! But he didn't - he couldn't- his voice didn't work, he wanted to apologize for it, but he couldn't say anything, his mouth open, his hand extended, but he didn't move during the whole minute that King was laying there.
@Kingsfoil
The thought occurred to him that told him that that's what King asked for, and immediately Yarrow felt swallowed by guilt. He didn't ask for a rock between the eyes. Then King got back up and looked really really mad, and Yarrow's guilt was replaced entirely by fear, and when his brother turned around, he found his feet and started to get out of the way. He scrambled just barely out of the way, feeling the air move behind his head, and a jolt of electric fear went straight through him. In blind panic, he looked around a found a few more rocks on the ground, and he picked them up and just started throwing them rapidly at his brother, missing wildly and ridiculously, the rocks flying in wide arches over his brother's head and over his shoulder. Yarrow was just making sounds of desperation now through his teeth, trying to get King to just stop this whole thing. Attempt: Throw rocks? Defense: Dodging?? Injuries: Is a super crybaby Now is soaking wet???? (Fail - fail to dodge and throw rocks, Barely successful - dodge but no rocks, Successful - both) RE: Tell me I Deserve This - Kingsfoil - Jan 11 2016
@Yarrowfeld RE: Tell me I Deserve This - Yarrowfeld - Jan 16 2016
Yarrow made a high-pitched sound of fear, seeing his brother start to charge him again, raising those hooves, and they reflected in his eyes, the only thing he saw. He didn't want to get hurt by them, he didn't want to get hurt at all, he just wanted to run!
@Kingsfoil
So that's what he did, this fight wasn't good anymore, this wasn't practice, his brother actually wanted to hurt him and he felt so tricked - like this whole thing was a lie, an excuse to just hurt him, and he wanted nothing to do with it anymore! So he ran and eyes the nearest crack in the wall of a building and made a direct path for it, his brother hot on his heels. "S-stop, King! This i-isn't practicing an-anymore!" He yelled over his shoulder as he ran. Attempt: Dodge and Hide Defense: Running the heck away! Injuries: Is a super crybaby Now is soaking wet???? RE: Tell me I Deserve This - Yarrowfeld - Mar 08 2016
Yarrow huddled to himself inside the crack in the wall, fighting the overwhelming urge to cry. He shook with it, and his throat really really hurt, and having his brother chase him for doing what he was told was just downright frightening! He didn't understand! Wasn't he supposed to do that?
It was quiet outside the wall, and he peeked an eye to look, but he couldn't see anything at all. So he huddled even tighter, wishing his mama was here to comfort him, and he cried silently, wanting for all the world for his brother to just go away. RE: Tell me I Deserve This - Yarrowfeld - Mar 08 2016
It was still really really quiet, and after a while, he mopped up his tears and looked as far as he dared through the crack. Still, nothing. He peeked his head out, scared, but Kingsfoil was nowhere to be found. He frowned, taking in shuddering breaths from the aftermath of his crying, and he made his way through the crack, and when he did, he saw a glimpse of a white tail going around a corner.
Fear struck his heart. Was Kingsfoil going to their Father to tell him what he did? Father would look at him with disgust, he knew it, for what he did wrong by throwing that rock, and he would be scolded and shamed and punished and called useless and the thought was more than enough to send Yarrow crying again. He ran straight to where Mama was, tears clogging his eyes and his throat, heading straight for her comforting arms. She would protect him! Wouldn't she? [exit Yarrow] |
