RE: shadow theatre - Delilah - May 18 2015

Delilah
The only limits we have are the ones we give ourselves.

It confused her some, seeing that the male wasn't bothered by the shadow, did he not see how it was acting before. The young female looked away from him to stare at the thing as it walked over to sit down, not showing any of those scary movements that it did before. The whole ordeal was rather interesting, but even with a hurt nose she did not regret to run into this event. "If it is a monster, you shouldn't be afraid of it." She wasn't? Curiouser and curiouser for sure.

"Are you not afraid of monsters?" Wiggling her nose as another lick was given. Soft brown eyes focused on him for a moment, trying to read him. He didn't seem afraid, or even consered about the shadow. "What do you call you?" Something that would be nice to know for sure.

"Still scared?" Shaking her head, "It doesn't seem scary anymore, just sitting there." Why was it being scary anyway?

"Listen to me."

Are you not afraid of monsters?

He thought about it, tilting his head. He never met a monster. But if monsters were shadows, and dark things, and eerie feelings, well. He was born in the dark and he was born in a creepy part of the cave. His best playmates were shadows and he had never came across anything that had done him a slight. What was so scary about a monster, anyway?

He shook his head, glancing at her. "Nope." Not scared. He didn't have a reason to be. Not yet, anyway. Giving her a crooked grin he rolled his shoulders and stared at the dark thing that began to fade. As it evaporated into nothingness, he felt a wave of fatigue. Strange.

"Wolf, you?" He slipped to a lay, collecting himself in a very tidy fashion. He crossed his legs before offering his own question to her unspoken one: "I wonder where it goes when it isn't here."
