The hug of the trunk was not a surprise, yet the kiss to the chest was. Oh . . Hoping the flutter in her chest was undetectable as she stood back up to her full height again. It was her turn to hide anyway, better hop to it. "Nnn no peaking, promise?" And those longs legs were dissolve into the towering terns. Didn't take her long to carefully step over branches and twigs, come to stop under a weeping willow, doing her best to hide amongst the hanging branches. Just hold still, very still. Trying to calm her still fluttering chest.
Leg neck bent a little, not watching to have any part of her peaking out from her hiding place. Curious on how fast or slow Gada would take to finding Jasmine. Why did she suddenly feel so nervous?

Gadanai nodded in response to Jasmine's ask for a promise. She stared at the ground where Jas had been standing, deep in her own thoughts. This doesn't make any sense. None of this makes any sense at all. She looked up and around, noting that finding Jasmine would be harder than being found. She stepped forward, glancing around once more before picking a direction and lumbering about, eyes soft so she could spot the giraffe easier. She's nothing. She's a weakling who needs me to watch her. She needs me, I do not and never will need her. Gadanai looked around, sighing a little. I'm not going to quit killing lessers. I'm going to kill gembounds. I'm going to roll in their carcasses and bathe in their blood. But... but what will Jasmine think of me for it? Gadanai came upon a group of willows and looked at them, awestruck for a minute. She wandered through them, enjoying the brush of the dangling branches. She reached out as she walked and grabbed a branch, pulling leaves from it and stuffing them into her mouth. It was then that she spotted the long legs of her favorite treasure. She walked closer, stepping under the tree's canopy with Jasmine. She reached out and laid her trunk over Jasmine's back and rumbled a sound that was similar to a purr. Jasmine thought if she kept her eyes closed, then maybe it would help her hide better. Her mind was drifting into thought while she waited for the inevitable. Why is the fluttering not stopping? The feeling in her chest was strong, could it possibly be nerves? What was so scary about being found by the elephant? Nothing, I'm not afraid of her. Eyes fluttered open in time to see those grey feet on the other side of the willows branches. Holding her breath, but there was no point since the curtains were being pulled away as Gada discovered Jasmine.
The touch to her back made the fluttering worse, "You found me faster then I thought." Giving a gentle giggle, "Seems I'm not all to good at hiding, huh?" Lowering her head to meet the gaze of the other, was something the matter? Gada seemed worried about something. "Are you alright?" In a little closer now, hoping that her friend didn't catch her 'blues' from earlier.

Her voice rang in her ears, but it took a moment for her register what she said. She looked up at Jasmine's green eyes. A sigh slipped, which caused her to inhale like a gasp. She smiled at Jasmine, trying to put a mask on to hide her busy mind. "I'm fine, why?" she blinked, as if confused by the question. She wrapped a gentle trunk around her foreleg. She blinked a little, "Oh, it's nothing. Just making sure your having fun." Giving a smile, feeling the trunk hug onto her front leg. Letting those green eyes linger a bit longer as the question was returned back at the giraffe. "Yes . . ." Nodding quickly, "You really did help me, to be happy again." That was the elephants goal right, from the beginning?
Despite what had happened those days prior, Jas did feel happier around the grey female. She keeps my spirits up, and makes me feel . . No no, she needed to focus. Bending her neck, twisting it about so she could plant a soft kiss upon Gada's forehead. "It's means a lot, you have done more then I deserved." Rescuing her from depression in Orion, promising to be her friend and even standing up to another . . . even if that day wasn't a win, nor was it a loss. At least in the eyes of the giraffe.

Gadanai made Jasmine happy... and that made her feel something else she didn't understand. Why would she feel pride for making someone happy? Thoughts spiraled out of control in her head, eyes now staring off into some space in the air. None of this makes sense. None of it, dammit. Why? Why do I feel these odd feelings? Why does my throat feel sticky? Why does my chest feel- Thoughts froze, dissolving. It left her mind blank, blinking. Did Jasmine just kiss her? Yes... she did. Gadanai looked up at Jas with just her eyes, trunk squeezing her leg a little before she looked forward again. She realized she wasn't breathing, and gasped for air upon her realization. Oh the curiosities of life, always changing and seeming to keep everyone on their toes. Jasmine would let her glaze linger on her friend, hoping they were alright. She was acting a little off, something seemed to shift a bit in their actions. She seems happy. Shifting the weight from one leg to another as Jas stood beside the other; hearing the light gasp. Hmmm?
Head lower a bit as she brought her gaze to Gada's own. "Are you feeling alright?" The concern was genuine in her words, not looking away. ". . ." Hoping her gaze didn't linger for to long, looking away once more. I am feeling ok? The fluttering in her chest seem to act up when they stood so close, but the giraffe tried to think more on Gada now, not herself. She was completely willing to stop the game for now if her grey protector wasn't feeling so good.

Again, Jasmine asked if the elephant was okay. Gadanai remained silent, blinking again before slowly looking upward at her. She wasn't really sure, anymore. It felt good, but wrong. She wanted to say so to Jasmine, but concerned herself over the potential reaction and chose to keep it to herself, instead. "Di...did you kiss me?" she said. She'd kissed Jasmine earlier on, but had honestly hoped the giraffe hadn't noticed. She glanced away for a moment, then looked to where her trunk was. Touching her treasure. Urge pushed her to move it up further as she leaned just a little of her weight into Jasmine, closing her eyes. Mine. Mine forever and it makes me glad. I don't know what it is you do to me. She was waiting for their answer, but all that was given was eye contact. Is something wrong? She really hoped there wasn't anything wrong! Her green eyes began to search the face of Gada, trying to somehow search for a reason but was taken back by the question. Did I do something wrong? Twisting her neck and head so she was at face level with the shorter female. Trying to see her face better once they looked away but was revealed as she felt the weight of her leaning close.
"I'm sorry . . . I won't do that again." Ears pinned back softly, hoping she didn't cross some sort of line. The kiss wasn't meant to be weird, she just wanted to show her . . . well Jasmine wasn't sure why she kissed Gada anymore. It was just a reflex and it felt nice. Wait, it did? This just seemed to become more confusing the more she tried to understand it. Leaning back for now, ". . . sorry."

Gadanai opened her eyes and met Jasmine's, sadness flickering across her face when she said she wouldn't do it again. The apologies were so unnecessary that is caused her trunk to fall as she stared at Jas. "No! That's..." she rumbled and sighed again. "I want you to. Whenever you want. I just..." As she trailed off, the thought of sharing her feelings crossed her mind as This is absolutely fucking ridiculous. She pushed her head against Jasmine, eyes closing again as the trunk lifted and petted whatever of her was in reach. "I just don't understand what I am feeling." The truth came out and she felt like she could happily run herself off a cliff in shame. This would never happen again. No one else would ever know her like this again. This one possession, though... this one was here to stay, so perhaps... perhaps she could let her in.
