The elephant shielded her eyes with her trunk, giggling continuously as Jasmine paid her back for the spray down. She moved into Jas's space again, then stood up on her hind legs so she could reach the giraffe's face while she stood full height, touching that sweet little cheek. As she came back down, there was a heavy thud from her feet, dents forming in the ground. From there, Gadanai lead the way back to their cave, collecting large leaves, but not eating them. Once in the cave, she carefully added to Jasmine's resting spot and fluffed it all up before flopping down beside it, feeling like she wanted cuddles, her mood good between the slaughter, the blind acceptance, and the playful bath. --------- "Speech" Thoughts OOC: words @Jasmine |

She shook a few more times, getting as much of the water off her coat that she could before noticing that the sweet elephant was standing up as tall as they could. Glancing down at her to find a gentle touch to her cheek before Gada would begin to head back for the cave. Jasmine would follow behind, but she was nibbling at some of the branches herself, having never had a morning meal when she woke. The giraffe would linger here and there, but easily caught up with the other because of her long legs.
Gazing over to the grey female once the cave was in view, speeding up so they walked side by side. It was a quite walk and it gave her some time to think about what to say to Gada. Lowering her head down as she walked inside, smiling to see Gada had collecting the ferns to add more cushion for their sleeping space. Very thoughtful. Lowering herself down next to her dearest, giving a gentle nuzzle to her cheek. The giraffes coat was still damp, but at least the cave room was warm.

A purr-like rumble rolled out, the elephant adjusting so she was snuggled close to her love. Her trunk rested across Jasmine's tucked forelegs, hugging close to her patterned chest. It was still morning and she wasn't particularly tired, but this was a good moment to share. Something she just felt like she wanted. "What are you thinking about?" she asked suddenly, noting the thoughtful look on Jasmine's face. She hoped her Jasmine wasn't still hungry, having noticed her browsing on the way home. "If you're still hungry, I think there's enough bedding for you to have a snack while we... while we cuddle." It was so weird to be this kind of person. In her own mind, she began to go back to her thoughts of finding an allegiance. Added protection for Jasmine, perhaps, but mostly... I need an outlet. I can't sneak around and hope she doesn't catch me. I can't wait around for her to decide she's okay with the fact that I just like to kill. Red eyes cast a glance upward again, waiting for Jasmine's thoughts to spill out. Perhaps she would bring up her own thoughts later on. For now, letting the earlier... uhm... Her ears perked as the silence was broken with a question. Lowering her head down and rested it on the back of the grey female. "No, I'm good for now." But it was sweet of her to offer. It was an exciting morning and she had a lot of link about for now. Mostly how to be there for Gada, as well as what other things she can do here in this lush green room to keep her occupied. Tho, as they both laid there close to another, the offer of the greens lingered. Hmmm, maybe just a bite? Twisting her neck around to nibble at the leaves that were sprinkled around the other.
"Did you sleep well, last night?" Asking softly, curious if that was the reason why Gada had gotten up so early? She was close and snug to the other, feeling her neck lift and fall with each breath from the other. Eyes lingered on the cave wall, waiting for the response.

The reds became hidden behind lashed lids, a sigh of contentment escaping as Jasmine began to munch on the greens. The question about her sleep caused an eye to peek open momentarily. It was a very out of the blue question to her, but there was likely a reason in Jas's head. "I did, why do you ask?" Her eyes opened and looked toward the giraffe, gaze landing upon the lovely green gem. For the hundredth time, Gadanai began to touch the gem and her neck around it. It drew her in so, the way it felt and shined, how her flesh wrapped around it and hugged it into a very delicate place. If she hadn't grown so fond, she might of ripped open the giraffe just to see how it looked inside. She bet it was shaped in an awkward curve, with placed for her muscles, esophagus, and trachea. --------- "Speech" Thoughts OOC: words @Jasmine |

Her ears twitched a little, listen to the sounds of how the cave changed their voices with a short echoing down the walls. She felt safe in this space and was grateful for the shelter. Jasmine shifted her head a little as it laid over the others back, closer to their ear. "Oh no reason, just you woke up so early . . ." Then paused, considering another alternative to that truth. ". . or I just slept in to long myself." A chuckle caught in her throat, only thinking of that possibility now.
It was nice just staying like this, feeling safe next to another and knowing she wasn't alone in these caves. Jasmine could only smile at the thought.
