RE: heaven can wait - Makyna - May 27 2015

Life is precious.

Makyna didn't notice Leon's occupation with his own thoughts and she certainly didn't know what those thoughts were about. Perhaps if she was paying attention to anyone but the little wolf pup she would have picked up on his feelings. Sadly for him she was just watching the white pup as he tried to make sense of everything around him. It was good for the wolf that he didn't fall because if he had Makyna only sat up from where she was and wouldn't have been able to cross the distance in time and with Leon occupied with his own thoughts he probably wouldn't have been able to rescue him either.

The lioness smiled at the cub and said happily, "Good job!" Easily she crossed the distance to the little pup. "See? I knew you could do it!" Everyone learned how to walk so she knew he would be no different. His legs were a little small, yes, but that shouldn't mean anything. Well, in her experience it meant nothing.

Now for the next part. "Do you have a name?" She took a seat next to Leon, slightly leaning into his fur as she had a habit of doing. "Remember, I'm Makyna and this is Leon." Certainly he had to have some idea of what he was to be called, right?

"Speech." || "Thoughts."

RE: heaven can wait - Leon - May 29 2015

Sure, he was lost in his thoughts until he saw Ghost start to stand and wobble towards him again. At that point, Leon had raised his head and watched the wolf pup. His mind was still somewhere else, but at least his eyes were on the little white canine. Once he managed to walk all the way to Leon, the bear smiled broadly and patted his large paws on the ground as a form of congratulations. Makyna encouraged him and then walked over to join the bear, so Leon sat up again, albeit slowly to not startle the pup. Once she was leaning against him, he propped himself up so that he could support her weight - granted she wasn't putting all her weight against him, he still had to make sure she wasn't going to tumble over.

(wow leon you are SO useful!)
