For the researching wing maybe there could be like one rank. One that's like entirely research based that is devoted to studying dead gembounds and plants and whathaveyou and cataloging how they work. They could be in charge of reporting their findings to the Enlightened and helping to create the strongest gembound by listing different traits/skills/magic that would be good for such a thing. It would be required that they learn how to write/leave notes so that everything could be jotted down for others to read... maybe they could even do a library of sorts for use of the Covenant.

Yeah, that makes sense! that'd be awesome! I'll add the idea about leaving markings on the cave walls to the top post as well. I'm still stuck on names for the research group though xc
The library would be an interesting one as well, but that'd mean that the Covenant would end up developing their own alphabet, which might be a bit complex. for the logic-based characters involved though, it'd definitely make sense!

Future is the character I'd like to join, and The Awakaned is a suitable rank. The reason is I'm looking for her future to be extremely dark and this is a good oppurtunity.
