RE: A crazy thought - Cuanakrys - Feb 09 2017

Cuanakrys had noticed a slight change in behavior, but let it slide. If he was hungry, then mood swings where inevitable. She stayed silent, but wanted to point out the behavior slip. Pharoah didn't seem to be one for mood swings. Or strange stories. But at least he didn't think she was insane. That was a plus. Once he got himself that rabbit she might thank him for being a good acquaintance.

After his little outburst the canine didn't know what he expected but it certainly hadn't been for her to immediately quiet her mouth, not after how very loquacious the canine had proven to be before. Hmm... How interesting... Obedient. He liked it. Not only was she proving that she could be entertaining but company that was obedient and entertaining, well, that was even better than before. "Thank-you for being so understanding, I very much appreciate it." Praise her, encourage what he liked, yes, that's what he would do. "Just be patient a while longer and I promise we can practice all the spells and tell all the stories you want." With that he turned and began to follow the scent, searching for where the rabbits would be. He didn't know if Krys would follow or not but either way that plan he'd had before... he was reconsidering it. If her behavior could be molded then perhaps she would be worth keeping around.

He could smell and hear that the rabbits were nearby and his already quiet steps began to slow even more. In the bog up ahead, around a tattered bush were a group of Windhoppers. Their bright coloration standing out amongst the mist. This should certainly be easy...

He called upon his magick and then raced forward, hoping his speed would be enough to catch one. The canine blasted forward with his long legs and the aid of his spell, the rabbits barely had time to react though as one they turned and tried to race away... but one wasn't fast enough and he was able to grab it by the neck. In an instant it was over. He turned then with the rabbit in his maw as he searched for the wolf, wondering if she was around or not.

Cuanakrys struggled to keep up with the runner, and by the time he was in sight, Cuans breathing was quite heavy. She took a deep breath in and a deep breath out. 'Much better.' Cuan thought, tired. She stretched, and decided to sit down, eyes threatening to close. Her tail was swishing back and forth.

After a moment of waiting he found that his company was nowhere in the vicinity. Ah well, he supposed he should go find her. With rabbit in maw he retraced his steps and soon happened upon the red wolf as she was seated, with eyes looking as if they wanted to close at any moment. "There you are, Krys." He mumbled around the rabbit as he stepped closer and sat it on the ground between them.

"I caught a rabbit and I know it's not much but would you like to share?" His head cocked to the side as he stared curiously at her.

Man, had that run been EXHAUSTING. She hadn't really thought about food in a while. Food had never been in her daydreams/stories. Romance, hatred, FEELINGS, illogical ideas? Check, check, check, and check. But food? A big fat X. Now that she thought about it, she was feeling hungry. "Sure?" Cuanakrys said, tilting her head slightly, her eyes closing a bit more, tail swishing a bit faster.

He nudged the rabbit closer to her when she affirmed that she would indeed like to share. Cuanakrys wasted no time in lowering her head and going into the rabbit with gusto, he let her eat for a moment before lowering his own head to eat beside her. He was careful to let her get what she wanted before eating around her and not taking too much.

After he was finished he raised his head, mouth opening up in a yawn as she glanced about the dark place. "I don't know about you... but I grow bored of this place. It's dark and as far as I can tell... uninhabited." Except by lessers and that was no fun. "I think we'd do good with a change of scenery. Perhaps we could even figure out who or what messed with the lights." The canine grinned and without waiting for a reply took off towards where he figured the exit would be.

Cuan followed after Pharoah. She silently agreed with him, feeling a nice feeling in her gut.
