Oliver listened, frowning as best a dog-crow could in deep concentration. He clutched the flower-pearl in his clawed forelimb, and focused. "Uhh. The shore? But you're in my hand?" he said, aloud. He wasn't the smartest being, but he was realizing now that something wasn't what it seemed. "...And--blinded? I didn't--do anything blinding? You aren't the flower at all, are you? I'm--I'm Oliver, I'm--a dog-bird, and I'm in--... Where am I? There's bones here. Lots of bones," he said helpfully, unaware that this might come across somewhat... ominous. "Who--are you?" @Septiezal RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Asimona - Feb 23 2018 Asimona looked up with surprise when she heard a voice coming from nearby. The voice was calming, soothing, and resonated with some strange new feeling within her that existed next to her own calm confusion. But there was nobody nearby that could have spoken so close like that. She looked at the pearl - was that what had spoken? tags: @Rinaotei notes: notes here RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Asimona - Feb 24 2018 Asimona nodded. tags: @Rinaotei notes: notes here RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Asimona - Mar 04 2018 Asimona looked back at the entrance to the cave where she had entered. tags: @Rinaotei notes: notes here RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Previous Game Master Moonlit - Mar 06 2018 ![]() What's this? It would seem that a new flower has appeared, in a lonely hollow in the cavern wall. It would seem at a glance to be an ordinary flower, but its scent is heady, floral, and alluring. It's still unclear how it came to grow here, though, from what otherwise appears to be solid stone. Its distinct and unusual scent calls to @Felina . RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Felina - Mar 06 2018 Felina was taking a break from her duties for the Marrowbound Kingdom. She was just about to refresh herself with some prey and then a long, cool drink. She picked up a flowery scent. It was irresistible. She finally found the source: a lovely pink flower with a bright green stem and leaves to match. Then she saw it was growing in a stone. How could that be? She was pretty certain a flower needed at least soil to grow in. Not cold, hard stone. Was it even a real flower? Only one way to find out. She very lightly touched a paw to the petals, stem and leaves respectively. Her claws were retracted. She didn't want to risk damaging it. Of course, she couldn't possibly know what might happen next... @gamemasterMoonlitDream RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Previous Game Master Moonlit - Apr 02 2018 What's this? it appears that the link between characters is beginning to fade, and soon, it will be gone. The flower's cores are losing their power, and soon the chance of reuniting them will die, leaving behind a useless pearl, lovely but sad. The flowers that have not been found begin to wilt, their petals dropping one by one. The wonderful scent, fades.
If the cores are not reunited by the 16th of April, their magic will fade for good, and the remaining flowers will wither! (Note: reunion threads started before the cut-off date will have until the 1st of May to finish them)
If you've reunited the cores and are waiting for a response, please use the Request GM button to let us know! @astaroth @Asimona @Oliver @Carni @Yuma @Poppy RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Previous Game Master Moonlit - Apr 02 2018 As Felina gently nudged the flower, it wilted. Delicate petals curled in on themselves and the stem shrivelled and shrank before finally crumbling into dust. The small pearl-like object that had been the flower’s core tinkled as it dropped lightly to the ground.
And in that moment, a new feeling would wash over the bobcat, feelings that were not her own. Perhaps Felina would see a sight through the eyes of another; a strange, crystalline flower growing in the maw of mosses. Perhaps she’d feel a sense of calm curiosity, washing in over the mental link. @Felina is now bonded to @Rift , and the two may now speak to one another, and share thoughts and feelings between these threads, or any!! The flowers have left their cores behind! If they are not reunited within two cycles, then the cores will crumble, the connection severed and the flowers never to be reunited again, in this life or the next... RE: Floral Frivolity! (Canis) - Astaroth - Apr 05 2018
Astaroth snored slightly while he slumbered, having hibernated for a short time to allow himself to recuperate from past fights. He snorted though when a light started to pierce through his heavy eyelids. "What in the caves..." he groaned as he shook off his coat, eyes squinted towards the glowing flower growing in his den. he yawned loudly as he sat up on his haunches. moving to his feet and pacing towards the flower. I don't like the light... but it is rather pretty. he thought as he moved forward, sniffing the bright petals.
"Speaking." Thoughts. tags: notes: Sorry for being so late to reply! |
