RE: Poke Poke - Fallah - Jun 16 2015
RE: Poke Poke - Sadie - Jun 22 2015 It seemed that Fallah was well enough to speak, at least, and she asked if Fisher was alright. 'Twas quite selfless of the lynx, seeing as her own condition seemed decidedly more dangerous. Even Sadie could tell that, young though she might be. The long brown creature's eyes did indeed seem to have been fixed, and Sadie nodded in response to his words. If it was the loss of all that water that had brought Fallah to this state, then surely replacing it would fix her. While Sadie did not yet know that 'Eridanus' was the name that was attached to her birthplace, she trusted Fisher when he said that there was lots of water there. She would follow him, but the calf first looked down again at her feline friend, wondering if they should bring the lynx with them, or bring water back. Was either option even possible? Then Fallah told them to wait. Did the lynx have any other water powers that could help? Sadie wasn't sure that the lynx should even try in her current state, but the damage was done before she could say anything. The cat's coat darkened with moisture, and a coughing fit began to rack her frame. "Fallah?" Their already bad situation had gotten worse, and now Fallah couldn't even speak. A moment later she lost consciousness, and she didn't respond at all when Sadie nosed her shoulder, or called her name. It was up to Sadie and Fisher to find water now, and the clock was ticking. Bring Fallah with them would probably be the fastest route to heal the lynx. Perhaps Sadie could carry her. Fisher could probably drape Fallah over the calf's back. Lying down next to Fallah, Sadie looked at the long brown creature desperately. "Carry Fallah. You help?" Hopefully he would understand what she meant. RE: Poke Poke - Fisher - Jul 05 2015
Fisher's ears perked when Fallah told him to wait, hoping she had a better idea... But then she seemed to do something even worse and faint and a horrible crawling sensation went through his fur. He looked at Sadie as she laid down and spoke to him. He nodded sheepishly, a bit nervous, but he had to act fast. Thankfully acting fast was in the tiny fisher cat's nature. Although the lynx was bigger and heavier than him, he hoped that it wouldn't be too hard to shove her on to the cow. His eyes still stung a bit, but he found it wasn't so bad when he closed them. With a grunt, he tried to get his nose and forepaws under Fallah's belly and did his best to haul her up on to Sadie. Despite everything, he seemed to have enough strength to lift her up just enough to get her front bits over Sadie's neck and, with a bit more shoving, center her enough that she would stay. He panted with the effort, his coat damp with the wetness of his friend's coat. RE: Poke Poke - Fallah - Jul 06 2015 Omfrikin'g crit success maybe now we can get the armor XDDDDDD
RE: Poke Poke - Sadie - Jul 06 2015 Thankfully, Fisher reacted quickly. The calf's green gaze followed him as he moved to Fallah's side. Sadie was careful to stay completely still as Fisher lifted the lynx as best as he could and hauled Fallah over her neck. The cat was surprisingly heavy, but Sadie was pretty sure that she could manage carrying her nonetheless. Cows are sturdy creatures after all. Besides, it wasn't like they had that many other options. Sadie was preparing to stand up, moving her front legs slowly and carefully into the position required of them, when a sudden gasp from Fallah made the calf turn her head to look at her instinctively. The unexpected sight of glowing blue Fallah caused Sadie to start, though fortunately the movement didn't dislodge the lynx from her back. Was Fallah...casting another spell? Sadie watched her tensely as Fallah glowed for a few more moments, turning the calf's golden coat and the cave floor blue, hoping that nothing bad was happening to her friend, yet again. Then the light faded and Fallah collapsed again, though conscious this time, shivering against Sadie's curly fur. "Fallah?" the calf said, her tone adding an unspoken 'Are you alright?' to the word. Sadie was relieved when the feline moved again, starting to speak, though the words were quickly cut off as she started retching over Sadie's side. Fortunately for the calf's golden coat, nothing came up. Eventually Fallah was able to finish to her sentence. "It's awright, Fallah. Was accident." The calf tried to reassure her feline friend with still-imperfect speech. As long as Fallah was alright, Sadie was happy. RE: Poke Poke - Fisher - Jul 19 2015
Fisher was, sincerely, surprised that Fallah awoke so quickly. Life seemed to come back into the feline, as though whatever horrible magic had almost killed her had faded and she had gently come back to life. His ears twitched as he looked up at the floppy cat on the giant cow, his tail flicking nervously from side to side. He carefully padded around the large hoofbeast carrying his best friend and sniffed around, blinking his bleary eyes. .. And then Fisher spotted it. RE: Poke Poke - Fallah - Jul 31 2015 I am so sorry. XD
