@Imp RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Imp - Mar 02 2018 Imp slowly, carefully turned on the ceiling, settling his hind feet deep into crevices there. Once they were fully settled--and his heat simmered out--he slowly let his wings down to dangle idly. He just hung there, vertical from the ceiling, half-grinning down at the sheep. "Well, at least you can eat it. That's something." He sounded easygoing, now, tone more laid-back, and he twisted a little to eye the carvings, then looked back, thoughtful. "Maybe you could grow plants into stuff. Like through walls and break 'em down or through a guy. You know, grow vines through an enemy or something. That'd be great." He started swinging idly back and forth, not so much that his momentum would wrench him free of his perch, and flapped his wings idly. He was an indolent thug on the best of days, and now that he felt done taunting the sheep, he had decided to share her company awhile longer. There was something about her aggression and her noisy nature that he liked. Perhaps she just reminded him of him. "You're less annoying than everyone else, at least. More fun, too, I bet. We should cause some trouble or something." @Peggy RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Peggy - Mar 02 2018
@Imp RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Imp - Mar 08 2018 Imp snorted, turning to clamber down closer, eyeing the torn remains of the sprouted plant. He wasn't sure if she could, in fact, grow plants out of his butt but he wasn't about to get close enough for her to try. "If you manage, make it a good one. Big fluffy rose, right?" He cackled, and then clambered so he was almost at her level. "And I'm serious. I'm warning you, everyone in this cave is boring. It's all 'I THINK I'M IN LOVE' or 'LET ME TEACH YOU TO HUNT' or 'LET'S TALK ABOUT STUPID PROBLEMS.' Boooooring. The only good stuff is to mess with them." He eyed the sheep, pausing. What was to stop them messing with one another, though? I mean, I already was. But she gives as good as she gets, so-... "So, truce? You don't mess with me, I don't mess with you. Someone messes with you I come help, and same the other way. But you gotta explain what Squiffy means," he added, peering at her curiously. "I'll even teach you what I know if you tell me that stuff. I mean, not fire, I don't know if you can learn fire but I can teach you why and like, about the caves and all that." He stretched his wing-arms out and yawned, wondering in an idle sort of way if the angry sheep would take him up on his offer, or not. Maybe they'd cause mayhem together, or at least he'd have someone sort of interesting to talk to from time to time. Compare mean war stories or whatever. Or maybe she'd try to grow flowers out of his butt, and he'd leave her to her own devices. ooc - if I don't answer within 1-2 days after a tag, poke me, the system isn't messaging me :( // @Peggy RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Peggy - Mar 09 2018
@Imp RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Imp - Mar 11 2018 Imp considered. "Yeah, sure? Except I don't really know how to make fire. See, everyone's got their own magic." With a hiss of effort he dropped from the wall, spreading wings and gliding down to land heavily near the sheep. He wasn't a tiny thing, but he wasn't huge either, perhaps the size of a large dog. And like a dog, he shook himself idly, the fur ruff collaring his neck flicking bits of dust and stone about. "But I think sometimes people learn other kinds, too. Fire-users are angry, and you're obviously angry so you can probably use it too." This was completely incorrect, naturally, but it was Imp's view on things, and so he stated it as fact. "Focus on heat? I dunno. I never tried to breathe fire properly like dad. If you want to really learn he might be better at teaching but he's boring." He hauled himself right up to the sheep, sniffing at her, wondering if she'd smell nice, or if she'd stink. @Peggy ((To check, are you typing out @Imp rather than copy/pasting it? I've NO IDEA why I'm not getting tags rofl)) RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Peggy - Mar 17 2018
@Imp RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Imp - Mar 17 2018 Imp blinked as the sheep baa'd, and as she broke into a bunch of rambling that he could not even begin to fathom. The meaning wholly escaped him, and he stared, for a long moment, trying to puzzle it out. At long last, none too eloquently, he spoke. "...What?" He tilted his reptilian head, then sat back a bit, more upright, peering Peggy over. "Does that mean you'd want to meet him or-... Not?" His amused, combatative nature then took note of the other thing Peggy had said--and, of course, he had to challenge it. "And yeah you are! You're SO always angry. I dare you, say one not-angry thing! Go ahead, do it!" he challenged, his ever-present grin seeming to widen. ooc - yup, that did it! Quoting tags doesn't work, for some reason :O @Peggy RE: The Writing's On The Wall - Peggy - Mar 17 2018

Imp peered. "I said. To learn fire." Then he paused, letting the sheep think. She was obviously thinking. Or so he thought. When Peggy managed a fairly non-hateful compliment, for a moment he simply stared. Huh. I didn't think she had it in her. "Well that--that was actually pretty good," Imp conceded, reluctantly. "And yeah, he's pretty ugly? But so are we," the hybrid added, cheerfully matter-of-fact. In this case, it didn't even occur to him that it might be an insult. He liked scaring people with his appearance--he was grotesque, and he enjoyed it. He certainly didn't know why this might factor in to Peggy wanting to visit someone, or not. "Here, look." He concentrated, slowly waddle-turning so he wasn't facing Peggy, and focused. He felt his gem-horns shimmer with power, felt the heat welling up within. Slowly, he closed his eyes, then opened his maw--doing it all slowly, somehow hoping this would help the plant-sheep "learn fire"--until searing heat burst forth into the air. Then he turned, peering at her. "Did that help?" ooc - forgot to rolll @Peggy |
