Yuma continued to sit perched upon a high rock looking down at the two spectators playing around in the arena as he waited for the next fight to start. Even if there wasn't going to be any killing there might be some entertainment to be had. There might even be a horrible accident that could lead to him getting another gem for his collection.

His collection was already pretty big though, and just gathering them was losing its charm a bit. Did he really want to be the best janitor possible? What else was there to do here? Perhaps he could be a professional judge? Well he was already doing that and there was no one to judge. Maybe the contestants were being all 'nice' and waiting for the ring to clear.

"Hey, kids!" he called down. "Usually I wouldn't care if you were playing around in there but there's supposed to be a contest going on soon. Go find a spot by the river or something."

Boredom was still threatening to show its troublesome face as the aye aye settled back on the rock. Had that been mean to kick them out perhaps? Maybe he could try to soften the blow by sending out words of encouragement. "Oh, and don't worry about hurting each other, neither one of you are very good fighters. If that had been an actual competition the deer would have only won due to their size advantage and the bird's hopeless clumsiness."

There, now they didn't have to worry that they'd accidentally kill each other. Yuma was slowly getting the idea behind this 'get along with other people' concept.
