RE: Brr! - Babette - Aug 07 2018
The chihuahua pup grinned when Eirian accepted her 'offer' of friendship, nodding her large head. And Eirian was right - they didn't have much of a choice. If they had refused her, she would have just followed them until they accepted it.
Following Eirian's lead, Babette looked around, although she didn't quite know what she was looking for. However, the larger pup's answer was not quite satisfactory, and her ears twitched. 'Why did I have to hatch into the cold?'
She trotted over to the nearest shard of ice, pressing her nose against it before shivering and dancing back. Oh, that was cold! "I do not like ice." she grumbled, and then her head felt odd.
Her gem seemed to tremble, before sending energy through her. And then, suddenly, she was soaking wet. The pup gasped, and began to shiver even more as the cold began to bite through her.

Eirian watched Babette, unsure what to do now. They watched as she walked to the nearest bit of ice, pressing her nose against it. They blinked as she jerked back, and let out a grunt that could almost pass as a laugh.
"It's not so bad. I'm sure you'll get used to it before long, especially if we stay here." They were about to say more when the sight of the suddenly wet pup caught their attention. They frowned. What happened? Why was Babette suddenly soaking wet? "What happened?" They walked closer and nudged her a little, trying to see if they could figure out why this had happened.

The pup huffed when the older pup gave a sound that couldn't be passed off as anything but a laugh. Oh, they was going to laugh at her, were they? She was going to make them regret that. Already, the Chihuahua was planning ways to make them as cold as she could.
However, the look she gave them when they suggested them staying in the cold was sheer horror. If they thought she was staying in this frigid hell any longer than she had to, then they were touched in the head! "I'm leaving here as soon as I can! You're coming with me, aren't you?" However, it wasn't so much a question, as it was a demand.
She sneezed when she got wet, and flattened her frigid form against the larger dog, trying to leech off of his body heat. "I was trying to make it warm, but this happened! My Magic must be messed up," she huffed, stamping a paw.
