There was a bit of a silence after his own words, leaving him a bit quiet and awkward. Finally the snake spoke again and asked him what he'd like to know, as if he sought out the snake for answers. Xerxes tried not to scoff, choking back his reaction by clearing his throat. It took him another moment to look down to the snake again with his reply. "There's nothing on my mind right now." He replied, then rose from his sitting position and swished his tail. "I best be going now, I should get back to Canis before they wonder where I've went." He smiled briefly down to the snake before making his way towards the nearest tunnel, realizing then that he'd never learned the snakes name. Oh well, there was always the chance he'd meet this snake again.
