RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 11 2019 Wilder smiled at the excitement in Squick's voice and she dug out a little hollow in the ground where she set down the little talon shaped gem. Maybe if they found enough crystals they'd be able to fill the hole completely! Although she was doubtful of this but still, it was a fun thought. RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 11 2019 There were a few times that she pulled out pieces that looked like they would have gems on them, or little things that looked like gemstones, but each was a fruitless discovery. She sneezed a few times from the dust pouring from the bonepile and found her limbs growing a little weary, but she was determined to find herself something with a gem on it. RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 11 2019 Eventually, Wilder found herself reaching the bottom of the pile of bones without finding another gem. She hauled herself out, shaking her pelt to get out the dust and dirt and looked around for another area to start searching. She could continue to just...dig through bones but that hadn't proven fruitful. There was another pile not far away so she quickly snatched the orange talon gem and made her way to this new search area RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 11 2019 She was going to tear down the entire pile - not a single bone in this pile would be left unchecked. The little cat went to and fro, checking every bone in sight and throwing it right off the pile if there was nothing attached to it. It was a lot easier then tearing bones out and digging through. She just had to kick whatever was barren right off the edge of the hill. RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 11 2019 She stopped again, a little tired from all this work, but she was going to keep going. She was getting some good exercise at least! She was curious to see what the creature would look like when it hatched as well - what would be the thing in the gem? RE: How big or small - Game Master CJ - Mar 12 2019 Wilder finds a chunk of translucent Bytownite. It is unremarkable but kind of cool.
@Wilder
RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 12 2019 She eventually found a gem that looked a little bit like glass and she paused in her search to admire it. It looked pretty but as she touched it and looked at it, she doubted that there was any life within it. This one would not work for Squick. However, she still climbed down the pile and put the gemstone in the little hollow she had dug. Might as well keep it. RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 12 2019 Every so often, Wilder found interesting chunks of rock and bone and pieces of gems that were broken or lifeless. She would take them back to her hollow and put them in, regardless of their potential to create a creature for Squick. But she still always kept her eye out, determined to find a gem that would satisfy Squick's needs. RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 12 2019 She managed to find another chunk of gem, but she was too on a roll now to really pay it much heed. She would go back later and check over the gems she had collected. For now, however, she set it to the side and continued to dig and search. This was actually surprisingly fun, despite how tired she was getting from it. RE: How big or small - Wilder - Mar 12 2019 She continued to dig and, as she did, she began to wonder what any creature created by Squick would look like. The thing they had revived from the Topaz had been an amalgamation of everyone that had stepped forward. She had seen herself in it, the wolf, the bird, the Collector himself, and, of course, Squick. She wondered, for a moment, what a creature crossed with her and Squick would look like. Would it have 10 legs? Would it be tiny as Squick or bigger like her, not that Wilder was big at all. To be honest, she wasn't very keen on finding out. |
