Hearing that gembounds could be enslaved made her eyes widen with surprise. But she quickly regained her composure at Thothaga's question. Aetius nodded her head as she spoke. "Yes, we will discover that together, as well as everything else. You have my complete loyalty Thothaga. I was also hoping if we could be considered friends, if you like." Aetius felt she and the spider had a lot in common. The biggest of all is their fascination with their arcane magic and the caves' history. The owl felt a connection with the spider, and was hoping she would say yes to them being friends.
