RE: The Atrium to the Left - Taxicolor - Jun 24 2019 Teeth sank into the back of his neck and the kernel of fear that sat within his stomach exploded into full blown panic. There was a small bunny hop before, he began to twist himself around, flinging him self upward in a desperate attempt to rid himself of the dark one. It was not use they were to strong. they hold on him held fast and he had the the sinking suspicion that this wasn't going to end well, to make matters worse he didn't even know the name of the one attacking him. " Why are you such a bid meanie?" Maybe, someone could turn them into a really small creature and then he wouldn't have to worry about this big thing attacking him again.
Round: 4/?? Attempt: To buck him off. Defense: N/a Injuries:Gashes along and a bite to the back of his neck. RE: The Atrium to the Left - Azrael - Jun 24 2019 It struggled beneath him, but it was futile. He had his grip. Soon they would be dead. For a moment, the tiniest flash of something went through him - pity for this creature. It struggled, it fought, it suffered. If it had not fought him so, it could have escape - or it could be dead and his stomach would be sated for now. Or, perhaps, if he had not hunted it, it would never have suffered in the first place... Attempt: bite harder Defense: none Injuries: none @Taxicolor RE: The Atrium to the Left - Taxicolor - Jun 24 2019 He couldn't just give up. There were things that he wanted to do now that he was out of his chrysalis, like crawl back in it, and never come back out ever again. Once more, he tried to throw the dark one from him as their teeth sank deeper into the back of his neck. This time, as luck would have it, he was able to break free, but not without aggravating the bite to the backof his neck causing it bleed more profusely than those raked across his neck.
Taking a few steps away from the dark one he stopped, panting. He would've run, but he was pretty sure that this one would follow him, and there was also the fact that he knew nothing of where he was going. "Stay over there. I will bite you." It was fair play, they had bit him. Round: 5/?? Attempt: Keep trying to buck him off Defense: N/a Injuries:Gashes along and a bite to the back of his neck. RE: The Atrium to the Left - Eythan - Jun 24 2019 If anyone thought that any of Canis's residents wouldn't hear the frantic calls and pleas of a newborn being attacked by another newborn, they were --- to be frank --- a dumbass. @Azrael RE: The Atrium to the Left - Azrael - Jun 25 2019 Blood flooded into the beast's mouth and there was a low grumble of satisfaction. He would have food soon. He did not concern himself with how the hatchling's blood tasted - this wasn't important in the face of a meal. He prepared himself to give one final snap of the neck when the prey suddenly was able to break free. He stumbled forward and then righted himself, staring down the takin with a headful of confusion. This was not correct. He had hunted prey before and they had displayed the same pattern of run in fear or die easily. This one was not correct. RE: The Atrium to the Left - Game Master Dark - Jun 26 2019
by a landslide RE: The Atrium to the Left - Taxicolor - Jun 28 2019 He stood, watching, waiting for the dark one to strike. They took a step a step forward their arm raised to slice at him again. He tensed as he readied himself to leap out of the way, when a body slammed into the dark one. The breath caught in his throat as he took in the other's features. They as well screamed predator and for a moment he wondered if this one was going to target him after he dealt with the dark one. Until he asked if he was alright, motioning towards one of the pools to clean himself off. "I am bleeding, but whole. That thing...' The words came from him in a low rumble as he did what the other ask of him. wants to play rough. I don't like them."
The water was a cooling distraction as he sank into the pool. A sigh escape him as for a moment the events that had transpired were forgotten, until the once clear liquid turned red with his blood. " I didn't do anything to them. I'm just.... where is here? the question was asked while he stared down into the now murky water. His first day of life and been the worst one yet. @Azrael @Eythan RE: The Atrium to the Left - Eythan - Jun 28 2019 The idiot child underneath him had the gall to give a pathetic shriek and flail around in an actual temper tantrum. Eythan barely batted an eye, scowling and pointedly lying down, putting his full weight down on the damn thing. Digging an elbow into the space between its wings, keeping it down, the gryphon reached forwards and, sliding his foot across Azrael's cheek, he expertly snatched its mouth closed. @Azrael RE: The Atrium to the Left - Azrael - Jun 28 2019 Even as the monster struggled, he learned quickly that he would not be able to throw off this creature. He was outmatched. His prey was lost. If he wanted to live...he needed to run. He bared his teeth and growled low, wriggling around under the predator's grip, trying to free his bottom arms. The gem against his chest began to glow more strongly, although the two most likely could not see this. Intense heat ran into his palms and the eyes within them squeezed shut before they burned. With both of his lower arms, he reached back, pressing against his wings, and grabbed at the predator's legs. RE: The Atrium to the Left - Taxicolor - Jun 29 2019 Ah, so he would've died had the other not come to his aid. This did not over concern him. Whether that be from the lack of his grasp on the concept or the simple fact that the fight was over was yet to be seen. "Canis." The name sounded odd of his tongue. No, the cavern of bones was not where he should be. Bones looked...unappetizing at best, he wasn't sure what they looked like at their worst. There was little to be said about if he ate plants, it seemed his body did subsist on such things but then he had yet to come across any.
The quiet of his thoughts were broken as the dark one broke free of the other's grasp causing him to leap from the pool. His hooves clattering against bone are he sought to right his footing. A startled yelp came from him as the watched the beast bolt away a roar trailing in its wake. " Thank you for making sure I didn't...die? I'm going to leave this place of bones and hopefully never come back." With that he left the other standing where they were, not even catching their name, as he bound away in the opposite direction, unknowingly going to wrong direction. -Exit Taxicolor- @Azrael @Eythan |
