Black observed the various gathered Gembounds once more. They did not know where Usui was. They did not need his help.

He turned, silent, and walked back off into Orion without a word, his attention falling back to his own task. It seemed he held little interest in the mythical creatures suddenly appearing in Origin Cave--or in anything, really, bar whatever it was he was so intent on as he lurched into a lumbering trot, lowering his head to sniff along the ground.

Wherever he was headed off to, it was clear that he was on a mission.

The peryton snuffed at the weird creatures around it and decided that it wasn't going to get anything from them. With a weak bleat, he turned around and scrambled away, wings tucked against his fragile body, navigating the land with his spindly limbs, hooves and sturdy talons. He had much of Origin to discover. He had much of himself to discover.

One by one others left. Good. Now he didn't have to bother himself with it. He sneered, gave one final look to the dragon before he turned and bounded off. Eager to go find his first meal on his own. His stomach was growling for sustenance. He would seek out the dragon later on after he had his meal, but for now he could deal with all the other brats that were starting to show up.
