RE: The Magical and Mystical - Regalia - Dec 11 2019 Regalia considered the words that Bauble offered to it. Safety unconditionally? Perhaps, but the cloud had little to not connection to these. Perhaps it would have if they had not claimed to be parent and sibling - above and equal, as it was so wildly untrue that it was bordering on fantasy. None were above. None were equal. Regalia was wholly unique and ultimate and they simply did not understand. It did not feel this connection. Perhaps a connection between them as living beings but not as a family. They were trying to force this familial connection upon it, but that was simply not how it worked. It would find its own - followers, children, those that it would feel that connection with. Not those that tried to pull it into their own. All of its flickering lights blared at once and it willed itself to go shooting towards the edge of the cave before the flame touched it. It didn't know what would happen, but every instinct of danger was firing off at once and it came to the conclusion that there was this one empirical truth: fire was danger, fire was evil. Its own magic lashed out, filling the small cave with a thousand furious, booming voices: For a second it died away and the indifferent glowing eyes seemed to burn brighter with intensity, moving to rest specifically on Bauble. It turned then and drifted out of the cave, not bothering to look back at the two it was leaving behind. The cave it emerged in was energetic, bright, and full of life and energy. A new world, a new universe...just for Regalia to explore. Pressing forward, it started away, disappearing into the great central cave without so much as a thought backwards. *exit @Bauble |
