It was probably time to join the Trials. She sighed and trotted back to the place where the lace agate was sitting and sat next to her mother's chrysalis for a moment. "I'm sorry. I hope you'll forgive me for what I did," she whispered gently.

She began digging at the ground, opening a hole in the earth. Carefully, once it was big enough, she rolled it in and began patting the dirt back on top. There were bones around as well - she moved them over and piled them on top to look natural, and so none of the blue gemstone would show through.

Once she was satisfied with her work, she stood, taking one last look before exiting towards the tunnel.
