RE: Serenity Is Gone - Elias - May 01 2020

Elias had gotten away, but not without getting his mouth slammed shut by a clawed hand from the green glowy thing. That made the gator hiss in his mouth with some kind of emotion that wasn't anger. Maybe confusion? And oh boy he couldn't get his mouth open. That. That wasn't good.

The strange looking thing told Elias to stop attacking, and maybe Elias would have if his mouth wasn't currently shut by a clawed hand. He couldn't answer like that, either.

So, he moved to try and thrash his head around to make the thing let go.

Round: 4/5
Attempt: Make Alpha let go of snout
Defense: N/A
Injuries: Scratches on snout, Most likely a bruise on his snout too - currently has his mouth held shut

RE: Serenity Is Gone - Orthoclase-Alpha - May 02 2020

The orthoclase lumbered a few steps forwards, otherwise squaring off and trying to keep a passable grip on Elias's snout and keep those teeth from getting anywhere close to its legs again - not before making a point.

It tugged on the gator slightly, hissing to get his attention again with a harshly barked, "GOT IT?"

Alpha wasn't looking for words: it nodded its head as if to indicate what answer it was looking for.

Round: 5/5 (:elmo:)
Attempt: Keep a hold of that snout
Defense: n/a
Injuries: Formerly had a gator attached to foot and then to the leg

RE: Serenity Is Gone - Elias - May 02 2020

Elias still couldn't speak, the lashing of his head doing nothing to allow him to let go. If anything, it made the strange thing grip harder. Elias stilled at that- there wasn't much he could do unless he somehow turned around a bit and managed to lash out with his tail. Then again, he didn't think he could turn that much away from the claws of the glowy green thing.

Eyes glared at the glowy creature without moving.

It was a show that fine, he wouldn't try to chomp down on the thing's legs. If Elias got stepped on again he wouldn't think twice, however, about trying to do worse than bite at the thing's legs.

Round: 5/5
Attempt: None
Defense: None
Injuries: Scratches on snout, bruise on snout too; mouth currently held shut

RE: Serenity Is Gone - Orthoclase-Alpha - May 02 2020

Slowly - but surely! - the gator went still, and Alpha had him remain for a moment before releasing his fat snout with a hiss and slight toss. Anything to make a point.

"Good," Alpha barked.

It watched, let a beat pass, and let out a soundless huff before turning in pursuit of greener pastures.

Maybe some of those mosses and slight hills around be interesting to investigate?

exit alpha unless stopped?

WINNER: Orthoclase-Alpha

Orthoclase-Alpha judged as Brawler by player's request, due to thread date! Note that Elias' success in breaking free should have been taken into account, and the roll should have been for reobtaining grip on his snout, but the outcome is the same.
