RE: When Children Come To Visit. - Aristotle - Jun 24 2020 Ari
Aristotle sat listening intently to Elspet speak. He liked talking to her, she was very knowledgeable and she was very kind. Aristotle grinned brightly as he watched the gorilla work. A brilliant smile spread over Aristotle’s muzzle. He loved his new bag, she had done such a wonderful job on it. Elspet’s reaction only furthered his agreement on how it looked. He nodded when she explained how to replace the strap for when he got bigger, which he inevitably would. @Elspet RE: When Children Come To Visit. - Elspet - Jun 29 2020 "Not together, anyways," she shrugged. Rumors amounted to the gist of it all and little more.
Another slew of compliments came Elspet's way, and she grinned awkwardly underneath them - Caves, Aristotle just didn't run out of those, huh? She frowned slightly at the reminder that these were, in fact, rabbit skins, and she'd put them to a different shape. "I try," came her only response. She reveled in the minor distraction that was telekinesis: "I reckon you could ask 'im to teach you how to do that, hm?" "I'd be happy to come along, kiddo - just give me a moment to stow away my things, hm?" If the cub allowed it, she clambered onto a rather sturdy tree nearby, shrugging off her own leaf satchel and tying it around a high branch. The ape dropped back down, and gestured for Aristotle to lead the way. exit? @Aristotle RE: When Children Come To Visit. - Aristotle - Jul 01 2020 Ari
Aristotle nodded as Elspet spoke. The young lion liked watching Elspet smile, and she seemed to take his compliments in stride. In fact she seemed to like taking them as much as he enjoyed giving them. Besides credit was due where it had been earned was it not? The young lion smiled in turn, his slender tufted tail giving a gentle wave. Stepping forward the young lion let out a joyous purr and pressed his head affectionately against the Apes chest. He nuzzled her gently, the closest thing to a mother he would ever know would be this gorilla. She would always hold a special spot in the young lion’s heart no matter what happened. WHen it came to talking about being taught how to use new skills Aristotle wasn’t sure he could learn. But he would at least ask. Aristotle watched Elspet effortlessly climbed into the tree, stowing away her belongings in the highest part of a tree she could. When she landed back on the ground Aristotle eagerly led the way back from Eridanus to his home in Orion. {EXIT ARISTOTLE} |
