Mara curled halfway around River quietly. A wide yawn parted the small jaws of the young canine. Her amber gaze shifted around them as she checked for anything possibly around them. Then assuring herself they were safe, the young ebony canine lay her head on her sister’s back and closed her eyes.
It wasn’t long until the young ebony girl had fallen into a light sleep beside her sister.
EXIT MARA JADE TO SLEEP
