RE: Tending the Garden - James - Jul 07 2020 James perked up happily, his tail shaking back and forth happily, "I'm glad I found something like that. Um... don't eat the berries. They smell weird, bad, almost." He felt sick just looking at them... He followed Ari to the bed and kicked his feet off at the door, making sure to get the dirt out of his hooves before walking up to the bed and carefully climbing into it. He walked around in a circle and bent his front legs before letting his rear flop over, and itched his face on a leg before making himself comfortable against a lump of pelts. He sighed happily and snuggled into the covering, lifting a leg up awkwardly to raise it so that Ari could crawl inside. "Thank you..." James said softly, nuzzling Ari when he slipped into bed. He rested his head on Ari's shoulder and curled the rest of himself around Ari so that the lion's head rested on his belly, thankful for the size of the other's resting place. He found himself drifting off and allowed himself to slowly fall asleep, exhausted from the past few days. Exit James to sleep. @Aristotle RE: Tending the Garden - Aristotle - Jul 08 2020 Ari
The young lion smiled up at his friend. He was very happy at the treasures James had brought him. Such wonderful additions to his garden. Rounded audits shifted listening to James about the purple berries. He gave them a tentative sniff mostly to get their scent, but found them to have an extremely bitter scent to them. Aristotle watched as James freed himself of debris before climbing into the pile of furs. Gently the young lion pulled a much larger deer hide over James. He looked so cozy and happy, Aristotle couldn’t help the little smile that spread over his muzzle as he watched James awkwardly hold up a leg. The young lion crawled into bed under the leg and snuggled close to James giving a happy little purr deep in his chest. He couldn’t have been happier to have James home, and to be getting to nap with his best friend. He knew that all was right with the world and that everything would be alright no matter what happened as long as the two were together. Finding himself incredibly comfortable with James curled around him, the young lion gave a wide yawn and rested his head on the colt’s side. EXIT ARISTOTLE TO SLEEP |
