RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Comet - Aug 30 2020 Comet
Comet hadn't expected any gratitude from the cat after she popped the bubbles, so she was not surprised when they didn't say anything. It had been her fault after all, because she had caused the problem in the first place. But what came next was unexpected. She spotted the claw flying towards her nose and dodged it easily. @Rami RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Rami - Sep 01 2020 Rami narrowed her eyes at the dog that said she didn't have to hit her. Uh. Yes she did! How else would the fleabag learn her lesson? Rami's tail was still lashing side to side as if it was just as angry as Rami herself was. If her tail had a brain, it most likely would be just as mad. "I just wanna go back to the place covered in bones!" the cat wailed out. "If you can't help then go away! I don't want any of that stuff you did around me!" @Comet RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Comet - Sep 01 2020
Comet flinched away from the cat's loud wails. She wanted to help, she really did. But... how? All her spells were water, and if the cat couldn't even touch water, then how could she help?
@Rami RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Rami - Sep 04 2020 Rami really didn't want help from that weirdo. She really didn't. But it looked like there would be no other way for her to leave, unless she faced the snow like she had getting there. And really... Rami didn't want to do that again. Getting to this chunk of ice was already scary enough. Let alone getting off of it to escape the cold and wet place. "If you drop me I will bite your ears off." She hissed out, before slowly lumbering closer to the canine and climbing up before holding on for dear life with her nails. @Comet RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Comet - Sep 04 2020
Comet highly doubted the super tiny cat could even bite her ears off. First of all, one of her ears was a literal gem and she wasn't sure if you could even bite that, and second of all, she would have killed them already before that happens. Well, not kill, but injure enough that they would not do that again. Or she could always just drop them into the snow.
The wolf tensed as she felt the cat's sharp claws dig into her fur. It didn't hurt, since the claws didn't touch her skin, but it felt weird to have a weight hanging on her like that. Comet set off slowly, being very careful to make sure she didn't drop them. A couple of times, she stubbed her paw on a hidden ice chunk and almost fell over, but she caught herself just in time. This was going to take some time, and the cat was a bit heavier than she thought they would be. A resting spot would be needed soon. @Rami RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Rami - Sep 04 2020 If Rami tried hard enough, she certainly could bite both of those ears off. Maybe not the one made of gemstone, but there were other ways to tear that away. The canine didn't drop her the entire time they went, but every time the wolf tripped over anything, Rami had threatened a bite but only gripped her claws into the fur of the wolf harder. There wasn't much she could do without falling and potentially facing her own death. "How far out are you taking me?" She questioned abruptly. Rami wasn't sure if the wolf was taking her further into the snow or not, but there sure was a hell of a lot of snow. @Comet RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Comet - Sep 04 2020
After walking for a while, Comet came to an abrupt halt in a response to the question. That was right, where was she taking the cat? Her paws were automatically carrying her in a path that went around the bigger snowdrifts, but the more she had walked, the deeper the snow seemed to get.
Comet turned around in circles, getting more and more confused. @Rami RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Rami - Sep 04 2020 Her question made the wolf stop moving, and Rami would have laughed if she could see the wolf's face. She also didn't for wondering if the thing would throw her into one of the drifts if she did. Oh how painful something like that would be. Comet asked about where Rami wanted to go, and Rami's ears pulled back to flatten on her head. "Where the bones are!" She began yelling again. "Out of here!" @Comet RE: Potentially Deadly Meeting... But that's okay - Comet - Sep 04 2020
Where the bones are? Did they mean Eridanus? Where there was good hunting? No, that couldn't be. It had to be a cave where she hadn't gone before. But she wouldn't have to bring them all the way there, just out of the snow.
So a random tunnel entrance would probably be fine, or, actually, any place that didn't have snow. Not all of Polaris was covered in snow. As long as they were out of the snow, they were going to be fine. It was a good thing she could sense water. Spreading out her senses, she saw that they were a considerable distance from a place with no snow. Oh well, at least she knew which way to go now. @Rami |
