RE: [Hatching] Downy Feathers - Comet - Oct 27 2020

James did not know the whole story. Yet, Comet still deeply regret what she had done. Her renny's disapproval hit deeper than anything else could, and she knew that he was right. She actually didn't belong here at the moment. Her behavior was not right for this. Perhaps it never would be.

"Sorry renny." Comet choked out, the lump in her throat obstructing most of her words. Leaving the warmth of the pelts, she walked outside into the rain. James didn't know that it wasn't disrespect, but now wasn't the time to tell him that. Peggy's warmth was already missed, but she didn't think that she deserved to be there anyway. She didn't deserve any of it.

From the corner of her eye, she caught the animal that was the cause of this. Cirrus. Comet didn't look at them though, and instead opted to look at her paws and try not to do what she was thinking.

Garnet-Epsilon

They look miserable in the rain- ears drooping off to the side, mane and feathers flattened by the downpour, and generally looking like that sad animal in a movie that pulls at your heartstrings.

Ep-Cirrus tilts their face up into the air, and exhales as they let the rain fall around them and drench their face. Comet arriving gets an ear twitch from the tiny alien, and they're perched someplace higher up, like... on the roof. It'd take some effort to get up to them, but they are very much visible and very much obviously someplace out of reach.

They'd heard noises inside, and so make an educated guess as to what Comet needed from them. "Did James send you to send me to get something?" a sigh, and a shaking out of their wings as they prep to take to the air. "Does Pegasus need more bedding? Chrysalises sometimes release a lot more liquid than is originally assumed it will be. I know it took me ages to clean up myself when I hatched, even though I was near Hydra."

Being cordial, that they can do. But their tone of voice doesn't imply any familiarity, or even kindness - they're offering this story simply as an anecdote related to the current events. No more, no less.

RE: [Hatching] Downy Feathers - James - Nov 10 2020

James huffed and covered Peggy with a blanket, tucking them in and standing up, "I'll be right back, baby..."

He trotted out to the doorway and peered outside, snorting as he was almost immediately drenched, "Alright... I want an explanation for your behavior, right now."

James grabbed a fur from inside and laid it over himself, needing to keep dry in order to snuggle with Peggy after this... discussion.

"Comet, can I have your story, please? Then you, Cirrus.", he asked, though the please wasn't said very... kindly.
