Mayfal couldn't see. And now, Mayfal suddenly found it very hard to breath. This was new. It was also terrifying. Adrenaline began to flood their systems. Even though their shoulder was busted and their abdomen had been crushed, the need to survive pushed Mayfal to their paws.
A blaze raced to Mayfal's extremities. They let their paws become hot enough to burn at a touch. And then leapt forward. They wanted to push Sora down with what little mass they had. They couldn't manage that, but they did push her back and burned her a little in the process.
Mayfal was hurting so much now. They wanted to run away, back to Pegasus, back to safety. So much for exploring Pisces.

The kick landed her squarely in the chest, and she let out a piercing howl as the pain struck through her. This was not a normal kick, and the smell of her own burning flesh tore through her sensitive nose. She hated magic. She hated fire magic in particular. "BRAT!" she roared, and then she tried to bring a sharp hoof down on the joint of the shoulder once again.
"LEAVE!" she thundered, her eyes like fire. "AND NEVER COME BACK!"

Mayfal, Round 3 - For future reference, Cauterize is not a ranged spell; it requires touch to cast.
Sora, Round 5 - We suggest reading spell descriptions where possible. Spitfire is superheated bile that sticks to the target, rather than actual flames!
Penalties:
Sora, Round 2: Heatwave is superheated air capable of starting fires, and a successful hostile cast of destructive magic cannot be ignored by the character.
Sora, Round 4: A stealth or quiet-approach attack from a non-stealthy character would require a separate roll. In the future, you may leave this out of the roll and simply state the attempt, and allow the other player to decide if their character would reasonably hear yours--it cannot be included in the roll.
