There can be love in Chaos; just follow the Void

Tema wiped her paws against the tree to clear as much mud off of them as she could before she studied the deer, rolling it over to make sure its wounds weren't discoloured from infection. The last thing she needed was to get a Voidcrawler sick in her attempt to care for them. Thankfully they were clean and the lesser had no other injuries, but that wasn't the only thing she noticed. This lesser had a gemstone protruding from its chest in clusters like small spears with blunt points, a glossy dark green with hints of blue. Tema carefully removed the dioptase and deposited it in her satchel alongside her small collection of trinkets, noting how heavy the bag was getting. It was about time she headed home. The others would likely have woken by now and it wouldn't be much longer before at least one of them headed out to find her.

Picking the deer up by the thick wool on its neck, Tema half carried and half dragged the lesser along towards their base. It was bound to get muddy, but thankfully the wool could be removed so the meat would be clean. As much as Tema enjoyed having a place to call home, it as becoming increasingly difficult to keep anything clean in the muddy cave of Cetus.
