Arwen looked towards the box and shot forward, taking the opportunity to try and snatch it up. Her steps were muffled by the grass, but it didn't really assist in not being detected, for she was a large, mostly white creature and not truly trying to be stealthy.
She just needed to... grab it... there! She snatched it up in her arms, both the lid and the box, peering inside.
Oh what treasures were within... a golden chain that called to her vanity, a glass sphere that caught the light when she held it up, and a delicate silver wing, crumpled from lack of care. Hmph. She'd fix it when she had the time, but for now she'd try and bargain with Jasmedai.
"Jasmedai," she said, "If I give you your box back, will you give me my necklace?"
She looked around, hopefully for something to distract her with, and plucked a flower from the ground, setting it inside the box and closing it, trying to fit the lid back on. She coaxed the hinges together, but there was no promising that they would work again.
"Here you go," she said, holding out the box, "It has something inside for you, Jasmedai."
