RE: babysitting - Liliana - Feb 23 2021

As soon as the opossum was scooped into Thalia's arms, she instinctively tried to get her footing against her purple hands, but her stubby toes just immediately slipped off so she froze, letting herself be carried as fear sent flashing alarms in her head, but once she'd been settled against the cascading locks of hair, and she was able to brace her paws against something (that something being Thalia's collarbone), she felt herself settling down a bit. Her friend was warm and her hair was soft and comfortable. The gentle touches against her back confused her a bit, but she didn't react, still trying not to freak out too much at being handled. It wasn't bad, per say, but the ground was far beneath her and she was relying on someone she had met only minutes ago to keep her from falling all that way.

But, thankfully, her gamble paid off. Thalia seemed to have no intention of dropping her or eating her (for now) as she headed off towards the tunnel she'd gestured to earlier. More words streamed from her mouth and Lily did her best to listen and understand, but she only recognized a few of the noises. Not that they had any meaning. But, well, maybe they were relevant. "Bath! Food! Name!" she squeaked back. "Hell yeah!" she added on the end, just in case she needed to confirm something.

Then they were moving and she turned her head a bit, ears perked, watching the road ahead, excited for this new cave she'd be shown.

exit Liliana (I think it would make the most sense for you to start the next thread)
