RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Eve - Sep 22 2015 There was a pause as Eve looked between Leon and Bevy, staring quizzically at the latter before she realised that Bevy had mistaken her for Krakarak. Immediately, the crow was enraged. She was better than that pathetic excuse for a carrion bird! With a ruffle of feathers, the crow promptly exploded. "I'm better than that guy! KRAAAAWWK! I'm so much louder! He can't even make shinies?! KKRRR-- WATCH!" The crow inhaled a large amount of breath, until her chest had puffed up and it hurt to move. This could only be expected - the arrogance, the sheer need to prove herself better than her 'teacher.' What couldn't be expected, was the sound that escaped her throat. Seemingly impossibly loud for anything that small, the crow produced a brutal bellow of a roar - though it was only a little bit quieter than the actual thing, anyone particularly close to the crow would no doubt have a headache once she was finished. To some, particularly ones who have been in Cetus, may recognize the sound as something that belongs to a particular sea monster. The crow seemed content with the roar, and she moved to flutter up on top of Leon's head. Her voice, comparing it to the events that just transpired, seemed remarkably quiet. "Dragon's leg is pretty bad, and Czernobog was really hurt. I couldn't see Ghanyarah." RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Fallah - Sep 22 2015
RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Black - Sep 22 2015 ![]() Black curled around Fisher somewhat protectively, gently licking him even as the mustelid licked his own wounds. Makyna had started to tend them, before Black had rudely wandered off without so much as acknowledging her, let alone thanking her for her efforts. Now he looked up at another familiar voice, and his tail thumped on the tunnel floor with a wag of greeting, his brow furrowing up as his ears pricked forward. "Fallah. We all live, then. It is good." He then swung his head to look at Baratheon, tilting it to one side as he did. His tail stopped wagging. "Yes. He is here. I do not know what he intended to do. Perhaps he will die." He didn't have a tone--not hopeful, not hateful, not worried. Simply flat, matter-of-fact: Baratheon might die, yes. He swung his head back to Fallah again. "I will not die. Nemean. The Dog heard it as well. And the buzzing. She is the thing-that-fled, then...? She is my prey? Aquarian has told me not to pursue it, and yet... the Dog wishes to know." He tilted his head to one side again, curious as to whether Fallah could tell him more--but still eyeing her body over, clearly glad she was all right. When Eve screeched, horrifically violent, loud and awfully familiar, the dog flinched hard. He jerked against the tunnel wall, head swinging to Eve with wide eyes, and for a few moments his ears were ringing too hard to hear anything else. He looked around, but the crow seemed unalarmed and Aquarian was not actually present (clearly, he thought, she was imitating the sea creature she'd just mentioned), so presuming it to be some sort of magical blasphemy, the dog lay slowly back down. Otherwise, he simply stayed curled with Fisher, against the side of the tunnel and out of everyone else's way. RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Arkrael - Sep 22 2015
It wasn't long before Arkrael found herself where others were slowly starting to gather. The white pup still dangled in her jowls as she padded along. Eyes watched eagerly, searching the gathered gembounds in search of on in particular. A sigh of relief washed over her, but it didn't last long as she spotted the creature she was nestled against. Her insides twisted with conflicting emotions, but she quickly cast it aside and moved over to an empty area. Slowly she eased the pup down and took a moment to clean up the residue left behind from the pups chrysalis. An instinct that just seemed to grasp hold of her and had her moving without realizing she may be acting out of the norm. Once the pup was clean she moved back and looked her over, glad she was otherwise unharmed. Just as she was really. Sure there were parts of her fur that was singed and patches of burnt flesh, but it was nothing compared to the ones who actually went face to face with the beast. "You're safe now...I didn't hurt you while carrying you did I?" @black RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Black - Sep 24 2015 ![]() Black listened to Fallah speak, and when she cringed and fell against him, once he was done with his own panic, he quickly lifted one of his heavy paws to drape it over her. He pulled her in against himself and Fisher, and licked her briefly, before settling his head down. "I will sleep," he said simply. "Thank you for the knowledge. You, too, should rest." His grey-blue eyes slipped shut, his wounded flanks rising up and down with the motion of his tired breathing. He would simply lie here, grabbing sleep where he could, cuddled against Fallah and Fisher. ((exit Black ; he'll just be sleeping. If anyone wants to speak to him after he wakes, you can find him in the Polaris thread Black and White)) RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Fallah - Sep 28 2015
-exit fallah- RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Bevy - Oct 08 2015 END THREAD, pls exit now ;u;... no need to keep this thread going. If anyone's characters were hurt, you can assume that they received treatment for their wounds, and if you want they can go to Pisces to recover! Bevy stared at the crow as it made a horrifying noise at her, but then dipped her head. The work was exhausting, but so far it seemed that no one had died yet, right? Had she succeeded in her job, then? She hoped so. The wedding was soon... And she didn't want it postponed much longer. She... She really wanted a happy moment, after all of the mess. Most of all, she was just so, so glad that Leon and Makyna and Dark had all made it out okay. There were injuries, but most of them were treatable. Everything would be okay... Wouldn't it? ;; Bevy Exit .Enna RE: [MW] Quest: The Fiery Pit Back up! :3 - Fisher - Oct 08 2015
Fisher tried to understand what his friends were talking about, but he was quite exhausted. Curled up with his two best pals, the temptation to sleep was too great. Thankfully, Black told Fallah about the white dragon, and soon they were drifting off together. As he fell asleep, the dreams of fog and mist returned. The buzzing came to his ears, and a memory of a soft, fluffy dog romped through the marsh until-- as he followed-- the light of the blue spire grew blindingly bright. The fisher cat slept, his mind churning with the dreams of Polaris and Nemean, of a dog he had killed, and of the endless fog that swallowed up all of his dreams. ;; fisher exit |
