I've been longing for daisies to push through the floor I've never really felt like this before And I wish plant life would grow all around me so I won't feel dead anymore

Cayenne gripped his hand tight when he spoke, and knowing she made hew new friend, her new partner, her new everything upset, made her incredibly upset too. She felt selfish and bitter, and she didn't want that.

"No, Tenn, I shouldn't just force you to hold your tongue if you really want to say it. I don't want to be selfish and petty about how I look, and I need to accept that we see different things. I'm sorry." She squeezed his hand again. "Please, say what you want."

To her, it sounded like too little too late. Cayenne knew she hurt his feelings, and she felt absolutely terrible. She should just keep her self-pitying to herself if it just hurt someone else.

"But, yeah, let's go to Eridanus. The sooner we start, the sooner we'll have a home, right?" She gave a small smile for him, and she pulled him towards the tunnel she came from, keeping hold of his hand.
