RE: meeting with the father - Carrie - Dec 05 2015
@Hasira @Feverfew RE: meeting with the father - Hasira - Dec 05 2015 The stag nodded his head. "Of course, take all the time you need, my dear." She probably wanted to run, to go see if the carnivores were truly as terrible as he said. She would learn. She would learn that his way was the only way and then she would come crying back to him but until then. "Come away, children, let's leave Auntie alone to gather her thoughts." With that the massive stag rose to his hooves and began to walk away towards the cliffs. He would go with the children and he could watch them play while he could become lost in his own thoughts to make plans for the future.

"This is how I talk!"
This is how I think! RE: meeting with the father - Feverfew - Dec 10 2015 She was daydreaming about being big and strong and powerful with crunching bones and soft, loamy ash at her feet, the hero of all the caves with all the monsters dead when Auntie's words finally snapped her out of it. Huh? She needed to think about it! Fever pouted. But why? What was there to think about? And besides, she shouldn't go- there were monsters out there! But before she could raise her voice to say anything, Papa's calm voice said that they should let her think, and she let out her inhaled breath with a rough and impatient huff. Well, if Papa said so.... She shook her head as Papa started to leave, and took a few steps to follow him. She gave a quick look to Nettle, then looked again. "Net?" She asked, frowning. RE: meeting with the father - Deadnettle - Dec 10 2015 He was frowning deeply, the start wrinkles on his face dark and troubled. He didn't hear Auntie or Papa talking or leaving, only Fever's soft voice calling him to attention. "Ah-" He started, getting to his feet. "M' fine." He said to her, quickly touching her cheek with his heavy nose. She cast a worried look at him, then shook it off and grinned at him, beaming. "I'll be okay, Net! We'll kill the monsters!" She said cheerfully, like it was all some grand adventure. He didn't reply. He just followed her and Papa, his steps slow and painful. That was what he was afraid of. [exit Fever and Nettle] |
