RE: [M] Discovery, Investigation - Leon - Jun 09 2015 As Azazel delivered his apology to Cancer, the bear glanced aside, wondering if maybe he should have done the same. Sure, an apology might have served him well. It might have made Leon seem like the bigger man. But Cancer didn't apologize for those mean words he said, so why should Leon apologize for criticizing his obviously dangerous plan? Whatever. It didn't matter. He felt his heart sink a little when Cancer decided to join the group again - Leon would have been content to let the lot of them go back to Pisces. But if this was what they wanted to do, this new plan of theirs, then so be it. He listened as Cancer suggested a different approach, one that sounded a little safer than the first one. The bearded vulture interjected with a comment about the spire. It had produced some kind of monster that killed a Gembound?! Leon's eyes widened, and before he could produce his own opinion on the matter, Makyna spoke up, recalling the event. Wait a second. She was there?! And she never told him that she had watched someone die?! Not only that, but she was there - she was in a place where death was most certainly a possibility. And she NEVER TOLD HIM?! While Bevy went on to suggest she and Azazel investigate the Spire, Leon stared at his friend, unable to comprehend the information he had just received. But she seemed to move on from it pretty easily. He blinked a few more times and tried to shake it away. Definitely it was something he'd have to bring up later. He could tell that mentioning it had done something to her - especially considering she never told him in the first place. He huffed, still silent, until she had completely changed the topic back to his earlier warning. Leon gulped and cast a glance towards the horde of golems, then back to his friend. "Yeah... one golem against the five of us stands no chance." He murmured, then narrowed his eyes at her. "You know I'd never let you go alone, anyways." Leon added quietly, and twinged his lips into a small smile. The bear turned back to Cancer, and after considering the discussion that had taken place, he nodded. "Alright... This plan sounds a little more sensible." The bear raised his brows. "If Bevy and Azazel can keep watch while we try and herd one golem away, they can let us know if anything goes wrong. Otherwise, I think just one of us should be enough to attract a golem. Nobody else should be using magic." He added, looking between the gathered Gembounds. They had to make sure that nobody else used magic, or this plan could fail horribly. RE: [M] Discovery, Investigation - Cancer - Jun 10 2015
RE: [M] Discovery, Investigation - Bevy - Jun 11 2015 It seemed like they had finally reached an agreement. Hopefully none of them would be against Cancer throwing his life on the line after his little temper tantrum. Bevy's red eyes glanced briefly to meet Makyna's as Cancer suggested he be the runner. Perhaps Calypso was being a bit contrary. She knew quite well that Enna and Ratchie would be quite upset to hear that their friend was going to be the bait-- frankly, this part of Bevy didn't think it was that big of a deal. She did give him a sharp but possibly playful peck on the horn opposite her perch, just for good measure. "Try not to bash your own head," she said curtly, spreading her wings and taking flight again. This time she wasn't going to be so senseless as to flutter off on her own like a dim-witted nervous train wreck. Instead, she hovered around the others and cast her eyes on Aza'zel, expecting that he would likely lead the way and she could follow in his draft with ease. Honestly, this little bird just wanted to get a move on. Maybe she was also a tad impatient-- it wasn't like it mattered. She doubted anyone noticed much of her except when she spoke-- and that was just how Caly liked it. RE: [M] Discovery, Investigation - Azazel (Original) - Jun 14 2015 ![]() Nodding after apologies were swapped and a new plan was created, the bird gave a simple peep of agreement. He respected this idea much more. The best part of the plan was that Cancer was going to be the one who got chased by a golem. Heh. He'd enjoy watching the slippery feline scramble away from one of the rocky masses. Carmine eyes flickered to Bevy, whose other personalities had decided to warn the melanistic leopard not to bash his own head. Biting his tongue to hold back laughter, Azazel chirped, Circling above, The Bone King made sure he could keep a keen eye on the group of Maji Walezi's members down below and on the golems, who still idly wandered around like dumb collections of rocks { maybe they were, but still. } Hopefully the plan would go accordingly... or things may get hairy. table and code © chelsea of ORIGIN RE: [M] Discovery, Investigation - Makyna - Jun 14 2015 The lioness smiled at the bear. Of course he wouldn't. If there was one thing she was certain of it was the fact that the bear would always have her back and everything willing she would always have his. "I know." She said warmly before coming abreast of him, coat brushing against his like they used to do in the good old days. She turned to look at Cancer when he addressed them, noting their combat training. She nodded her head in assent. Seemed like a sensible plan. For some reason she knew that Cancer would be faster despite them both being cats. Perhaps it was his sleeker appearance compared with her own bulkier one. Makyna gave a grin. "Let's do it!" She said happily. Finally! They would get to do some golem research! Though at Bevy's words she couldn't help but give a little laugh. "That too. Don't need anyone getting hurt today." Definitely not and she gave Cancer a pointed look that said "keep safe". She wanted everything to go over smoothly so they could trap a golem, look at it and then get home after they were done. Her mind tried to flicker back to that awful day when she was with Deus and Fisher but she suppressed it. Focusing intently on the birds flying and the golems up ahead. She would not think of that day. words: 258
