RE: This is Home - Nameless - Feb 27 2018 Blackberry's vision was starting to come back, but, at the same time, it was going hazy again, just as it had in the forest of Eridanus. The battle instincts within her were taking over. She wasn't in control any longer. As Kera's paws came down to slam on her shoulders, she rolled out of the way, ignoring the sharp pain in her broken wing as her weight crossed over it. She planted her feet firmly on the ground and, aiming for Kera's throat, launched herself forward, beak snapping wildly. Round: 8 Attempt: bite her throat Defense: none Injuries: scars, lame wing, partially blinded, neck wound, mutilated face, broken wing ___________________________________________________________ Hear my honk. Kera yelped as Blackberry tore fur out of her neck, growling painfully. She took little notice of the goose's pain-- it was kind of hard to tell, even, what part of Blackberry looked more painful.
Regardless she continued going, white fur stained crimson. She kept moving forward, on and on, for another attack. She aimed, this time, for one of Blackberry's wings; specifically the freshly-broken one. Moving to clamp her teeth around Blackberry's wing she began yanking out whatever she could, aiming to break and painfully pull out blood-feathers if she could not reach skin, fur bristled and ever-growling. ![]() Round: 9 Attempt: Bite/rip at the Blackberry's wing, mostly aiming to pull out blood-feathers Defense: none Injuries: Mild limp, bitten muzzle, beaten head @Blackberry RE: This is Home - Nameless - Feb 27 2018 As blood filled Blackberry's mouth again, blood so sweet and this time knowing that it was her enemy's, she let out a strangled honk before Kera's jaws clamped over her wing. This time she felt the pain and she screamed as feather after feather was pulled away. She writhed and squealed, her eyes blazing fury and she kicked and beat senselessly. Blood was pouring freely from her wing and the white of broken bone glinted beneath the skin as Kera twisted it horribly. She was beginning to grow dizzy from the blood loss, but the blood twisted mind of Blackberry paid it no mind. Her writing and movement, however, only brought her more injury as her wing twisted in Kera's jaws and blood spurted from the wounds covering her body. Round: 9 Attempt: attack senselessly Defense: none Injuries: scars, lame wing, partially blinded, neck wound, mutilated face, horribly mutilated wing ___________________________________________________________ Hear my honk. The half-grown wolf did not stop, mind blank, seeing only red and feathers and blood. As the goose began flailing below her, twisting her own wing in her jaws, she abruptly let go, only to lash out for Blackberry's other wing.
The process was repeated, furiously, without hesitation. Kera's jaws moved to grab whatever she could-- the slightest thing she could grab was yanked until it was pulled out of her mouth, until she was spitting out blood and feathers. ![]() Round: 10 Attempt: Attack Blackberry's OTHER wing Defense: none Injuries: Mild limp, bitten muzzle, beaten head RE: This is Home - Nameless - Feb 27 2018 Her mind was fragmenting, filled with pain and blood and the stench of death was beginning to seep from her body. Her entire form shivered, trying desperately to keep itself alive as Kera continued her relentless attack. But still, the darkness in her, the bloodlust was still trying to kill the wolf that was destroying her body. As Kera tore at her other wing, the one that Astaroth had broken before, the just-mended bone snapped under the force, shattering into pieces as the wolf destroyed it. She screamed and her feet came up, her only defense anymore, trying to kick the wolf away. Round: 10 Attempt: kick kera Defense: none Injuries: scars, lame wing, partially blinded, neck wound, mutilated face, horribly mutilated wings ___________________________________________________________ Hear my honk. Kera had no time to feel absolutely terrible about the things she had done in the last five minutes alone. She had no time to register Blackberry's legs flailing from under her, and as a webbed foot connected with her gut she let go of the goose's wing.
But only for a moment. Within seconds she was lunging once more, craning her neck down to grab poor Blackberry by the leg with her jaws, holding on hard, before she began to twist and maul and rip at whatever she could, even using her paws to make sure that she could draw any sort of blood out of the goose's legs. ![]() Round: 11 Attempt: Break/bite/rip Blackberry's legs Defense: none Injuries: Mild limp, bitten muzzle, beaten head RE: This is Home - Nameless - Feb 27 2018 No satisfaction came with the connection of her attack. Nothing. There was nothing. Her movements were growing weaker by the second and she didn't even feel Kera ripping at her legs. She couldn't feel anything. The only thing she could do was try and get away, try and pull her now destroyed legs from Kera's grip and roll away from the dog. Round: 11 Attempt: try to get away Defense: none Injuries: scars, lame wing, partially blinded, neck wound, mutilated face, horribly mutilated wings, mutilated legs ___________________________________________________________ Hear my honk. Why are you listening to my thoughts? Get out of my head! tags: @Kera notes: here RE: This is Home - Blueberry - Feb 27 2018 Blueberry watched from afar. He wanted to help, but he couldn't do anything. He was too scared. He was terrified. That wolf was horribly ruthless, and Blackberry was horribly hurt. He screamed as he moved closer, tears leaking down his face. "NO! NO NO NO NO!!" He cried out, legs staggering. Miss Blackberry was going to die, and it was all his fault. Because he couldn't protect her. Because he was weak. Because he couldn't stay strong. Fury ran through the calf's veins as he turned to face the wolf from a distance. "YOU STUPID WOLF! YOU HURT MY FRIEND! YOU KILLED HER!!" He screamed with rage. @Kera @Blackberry RE: This is Home - Previous Game Master Norvilion - Mar 01 2018

There was blood rushing to Kera's ears. The only thing she could really hear was the deep-bass snarling deep within in her throat and her own heavy, frantic breathing. She did not hear Blueberry approach and she sure as hell didn't hear him shouting.
She was still standing. She was practically uninjured in comparison to the state Blackberry was in, and yet she still pursued the goose as she rolled away from her. She released the bird's leg as it was yanked away from her, but a moment later she was on Blackberry again, this time mauling and biting at her belly. It did not occur to her at all that the goose might as well be dead by now; the anger and the fury boiling in her chest stopped her from seeing clearly and caused her only to focus yanking feathers and flesh alike out of the goose's torso. And then, as quick as it came, it was gone. She did not realise it at first, until she spat out the last wad of brown feathers out of her mouth. She stood breathing heavily over Blackberry, blood dripping from her jowls, and then she was skittering back with her nails scraping along the cave floor. She did feel some amount of guilt-- though a part of her knew it was self-defense. Pink eyes flicked towards Blueberry at last, speaking, though a growl remained in her throat. "She was going to kill me!" Was her inital reply. She started pacing around the tunnel, stepping through blood that clung to her fur. "She's already tried before!" "She's a bird!" Kera went on after a moments pause, chest heaving. Kera wasn't sure herself if this was because her lungs were totally breathless or if she might vomit. "They don't make friends! I've tried before! All they do is use you, and take your things, and hurt you and betray you for no reason! They're bad! She's bad!" She was bad, the thought rang in her head briefly as she cast a quick glance towards Blackberry. There was no chance-- surely --that the goose would survive, but surely that was a good thing? Wouldn't the caves be better off without creatures like her and Aka? As always, Kera did not know. ![]() @Blackberry |
